Son of Svengoolie - "Vampire Carpets" (1980? / 1982)

Here's one of the best bits Son of Sven ever did - "Vampire Carpets" - a parody of Empire Carpet commercials and their longtime spokesman Lynn Hauldren, as originally aired on WFLD Channel 32.
Starring Rich Koz as "The Vampire Carpet Man".
"And all at a price that won't kill off your budget, immediately."
Not sure when this sketch was first aired. This copy is from a master tape dub from the 10/30/82 episode [The Mummy (1932) / House of Horrors (1946) (Saturday Night Fright)] but something tells me it originally aired in 1980 or 1981 perhaps.

It would be fun to have a dark countess, but everyone has their preferences. No Sven for sure. While I know the show is broadcast nationwide, it would be nice to have another Chicagoland native, but maybe they want the next host to be more ubiquitous? It wouldn't be the same without the Berwyn references. 🎩

Wow, that was great. I have to be honest I loved the commercials of the 60's-70's much better than today. They had that kind of humor that may you watched the commercials instead of getting a snack or whatever! Also love that you could see his pens in his pocket of his shirt awe those were the days.
