it's nice that they've expounded on what they can do with rage arts Tekken 7's was just mostly moves they already had while T8 looks more cinematic

Rage Arts were a new concept at that time, and the best they came up with was adding moves they already do normally into a combination. Now that they knew how to make animations for Rage Arts, they began to make newer and more cleaner animations that weren't like Tekken 7. Tekken 7 is pretty old now due to its visual appeal, the voices being outdated being ripped from Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and removing/replacing animations for Intros and Victories so that there were only 2 or 3 Intro or Victory animations for a character.

But in Jin Kazama's case I noticed that it was a move I had never seen before in his regular list, while in Tekken eight his devil rage art is two moves he did have, as well as the electric wind god and hook fist in his non devil rage art, comboing into the hell lancer.

Fr, I don’t know why always ignored the graphics for t7, (granted I was young when t7 came out) it looked like it belonged to an older gen console like the ps3

@@camz_205 its probably because in actual movement/gameplay we don't actually see how bad the models are because of the filters(graphic process thingy they put idk) plus it really helps that the stages are actually not bad. You just really see how sht it is on their intro poses and if you pause and stare at it for a while. But yeah t8 is definitely an upgrade

I’m really glad they toned down that weird horror movie sting sound effect in 8’s Rage Arts. That got really grating to hear with every Rage Art in 7.

I think Tekken 7 Rage art is simple and don't take much time for shorter fight duration while Tekken 8 is more cinematic so player can see and enjoy the uniqueness or funny move their character do.

Ya but for how long , because tekken 7's were actual moves thus it kept player interest even after being done over and over again but for tekken 8 their users will grow irritated after same old animations give it a year or so , except the ones that have actual moves like Leroy or Kazuas , Lings , Howrengs , steves etcs . 🙄😤😮‍💨🤨

I still love the feel of the Tekken 7 rage arts more. It feels natural and the sound of triggering it is satisfying to the ears. Tekken 8's rage arts are bit too long of an animation and a bit too exaggerated.

Tekken 7 has good rage arts thinking that it was created in 2017 and back then there weren’t so many technological advances. Obviously tekken 8 rage arts are better but Tekken 7 has really good rage arts and generally animations for its era

Price and greed aside, they completely ruined the Tekken experience for me (I’m coming from Tekken Tag 2, not 7). RAGE ARTS SUCK and have no business in Tekken. Why did they have to turn it into street fighter ? The flow of combos is completely messed up thanks to trash rage arts. I’d rather still be in simpler times playing Tag 2 if I could. Having them as a bonus feature works but shoving it down longtime players’s throats is messed up. What’s worse is no one’s complaining that they turned it into street fighter. Some people are sheep.

Just because someone or others doesn't have the same opinions as yours doesn't mean they're lying. Everyone has their own choice. For me, T8's RAs look more appealing but eventually, most players would get sick of it unlike T7 which are quicker. Some looks downgraded like Nina's in T8 but most characters' RA animations really improved.

Unpopular Opinion: Rage Arts and Heat Mode ruined Tekken Up until the two newest installments, Tekken did not have “Rage Arts” it was something incorporated because they were having Akuma from Street Fighter guest star in it. It seems like most of the street fighter fanbase has taken up Tekken’s community, and because of the growing demand of content similar to street fighter, Tekken heard the louder audience and decided to pander to them. I’ve grown up playing only Tekken 5, 6 and TT2 because I’m 20 and wasn’t alive for Tekken 4 and the other installments, but before that, Tekken’s gameplay was not as cinematic and “extra” (for lack of better words) I wish there was a way to cut out the unnecessary cutscenes for a lot of the move sets and just rage and heat entirely. I misss the old Tekken :(

Por mais que sejam surreais é bem melhor do que os movimentos simples que tinham no 7 E outra que não se pode cobrar realismo em um jogo de luta onde há personagens com força e resistência aumentados, além de ter demônio e até anjo kk, é pedir muito.

Mortal Kombat por exemplo é super exagerado por conta do gore dos fatality's que muitas das vezes não faz sentido, mas adivinha ? o povo adora, pois aquilo é o charme dos jogos, da franquia As pessoas jogam exatamente para ver coisas surreais, realismo a gente pode ver na vida real mesmo, só assistir luta em Tv.
