I was wade fishing a shallow roadbed about 5 on top and the wind was howling into it from the side. I was catching them every cast for about an hour and if I threw on the upwind side ditch I’d catch sandbass every cast and if I threw on the downwind side ditch I’d catch largemouth. 2 huge schools on both sides of the road. The sandbass had the prime spot for incoming shad.
