That approach with changing the settings on the studio monitors with the help of the measurements, before making the final correction makes so much sense. Before, I just measured them once and left them as that without improving the monitor situation first. I guess I'll have to thank you for pointing out that I'm an idiot lol. Lovely video

Hey Mr Carr, I agree this is an excellent system. I got the whole package free with my monitors (Eve SC207) when I bought them. I’ve used it during mixing ever since and have had great results. I also use it when watching movies... the sound difference is huge - I have an alternative movie setting for when I’m seated on my studio sofa to compensate for my room when seated further back - it really works well. I’m a convert too... love Sonarworks!

My best studio investment yet, makes such a difference to the low end. I don’t bother with plugin in the daw I just set my daw output to systemwide 👍🏻

I Was considering buying this. Might go with the earphones version as i seem to do a lot on the Cans. Then upgrade when the neighbours go on holiday😁

Question! You mentioned ar 10.40 to turn software off in daw when mixing? Isnt that when you need it most? Im confused..

Not when mixing but when mixing down ... making the final recording. So leave it on while mixing but once you’ve finished bounce the final mix down with it off. Alternatively just leave it on the whole system wide app.. so everything you hear is processed but when you mix down it isn’t.
