Tony is challenging the fans with this one... It is catchier as you keep listening. I think Tony was trying to get more attention with the azzhole bit but it sounds natural after 15 listens. SA have never had albums that were only power metal... Every song brings something different. Expecting 10 songs like Wolf & Raven is unrealistic. Tony is clearly trying to balance the male and female fans here as always as well as rock, metal and power metal, progressive fans... It is how you connect with fans... Some really connect with the lyrics and others it is more so the music... But Tony has always added some fun or silly lyrics so it isn't new. Lyrical content is on par with things he wrote on Ecliptica and everything else. Some fans set strict expectations and are always disappointed... After 15 listens this one is feeling really good for me... It is like a marriage of recent albums mixed with everything else from Ecliptica up. Expect the whole album to be doing this from different views and inspirations from their discography.

yep, they have been a mix of all types of styles from the start. i loved every album personally, thought the mixing on taliviyo was not my favorite.

Yeah... this song is quite underwhelming... however, they've also released another single "First in Line", which refers to their golden age, so I do recommend to check it out! The song really sounds as if it was taken from one of their first albums!

Yeah, this was pretty low in terms of energy and kinda random at times, like they just stiched together random strings of words in there asshole.
@chrisbohmdrumming92699 ай бұрын
nothing was random lyrically, you obviously need to reed the lyrics again, and look up the meaning. Its about a friend that they had who has been an a**hole, but they are still there for the person at the end of the day even though the pain, and problems he has obviously caused them. the lyrics state how much they sacrificed to be there for the person, and the a**hole was literally a shout to the annoyance to the situation, and frustration. its a hopeful song showing how good of friends they are. makes perfect sense when you read through the lyrics. artistically its structured really well. its a hopeful power ballad for sure.

This song was so weak, i miss the older SA sound, at least it had some sort of energy now its juts ballads.

The last album I bought and loved as much as the first four albums was "Stones Grow Her Name." If Shit Load of Money was slowed down... it sounds like this to me. I like it, but I'm hoping there is a larger variety in the pace of songs.@@tylerhall7727

What's with the lyrics in this song lol. The best Sonata Arctica is their first two albums Ecliptica & Silence but what on earth is this

The sad reality is that it' been 16 years since Sonata released a good album
