I loved Volume 1, and for the people who complained there wasn't enough early stuff on that, Volume 2 really makes up for it with Black Sheep, Letter to Dana, FullMoon, Gravenimage and more. Looking forward to hearing the rest.

Per me una delle più belle canzoni del panorama Melodic Power Metal. Per tanto tempo è stata la colonna sonora della mia vita e con questa nuova versione penso lo tornerà e so che porterà un po' di luce in tutto questo buio che ci circonda.

I Have a Right Give me the right to be heard To be seen, to be loved, to be free To be everything I need To be me, to be safe, to believe In something I have a right to be heard To be seen, to be loved, to be free To be everything I need To be me, to be safe, to believe In something Father, there's a little flower Beautiful and different all alone All alone Is it so, Dad? I'm not supposed to Make the world anew, and be like you? Am I you? Give me the gift to be heard To be seen, to be loved, to be free To be everything I need To be me, to be safe, to believe In something I have a right to be heard To be seen, to be loved, to be free To be everything I need To be me, to be safe, to believe In something Right to be heard To be seen, to be loved, to be me You made it clear Right from the start I am to take your sour heart within One sad day But I will never teach my son Embittered history Tried and true 'Cause I'm not you I have a right to be heard To be seen, to be loved, to be free To be everything I need To be me, to be safe, to believe In something I have a right to be heard To be seen, to be loved, to be free To have every gift I need To be me, to be safe, to believe In something Give me the eyes so I see Give me ears so I hear Give me love so I know what love is Give me the freedom to think To believe In something I have a right to be heard To be seen, to be loved, to be free To be everything I need To be me, to be safe, to believe In something "I have a special right to grow up And to develop physically and spiritually In a healthy and normal way Free, and with dignity I have the right to love, and understanding." "My parents have special responsibilities For my education and guidance I should be taught peace Understanding, tolerance, And friendship among all people." So give me the gift to hear, to see The love, the freedom to choose the things I feel To be right for the world you'll leave me Give something Give me the right to be heard To be seen, to be loved, to be free To be everything I need To be me, to be safe, to believe In something I have a right to be heard To be seen, to be loved, to be free To be everything I need To be me, to be safe, to believe In something Give me the right to be heard To be seen, to be loved, to be free To be everything I need To be me, to be safe, to believe Give something Right to be heard To be seen, to be loved, to be free To be everything I need To be heard To be seen, to be loved, to be free To be everything I need To be heard To be seen, to be loved, to be free To be everything I need To be heard To be seen, to be loved, to be free To be everything I need To be heard

Looks like I get first comment on this one! Btw ALL music vids should be lyric vids This is an unapologetic phone-light-waver rock ballad from this long-running Finnish Power Metal band. If you don't mind the odd phone-light-waver rock ballad now and again, you're in for a treat, because this is GLORIOUS. Catchy and memorable, you'll be singing along first listen. A beautiful melancholy melody is enhanced by that intermittent rolling tinkly piano and simple chords from the keyboard. Wonderful. Great production job too. To have been total perfection, it could have done with a decent coda, rather than just falling off a cliff at the end. Nevertheless, it will be in the "most-played" list on my phone for the next few months. My Score: Very Good 4*

Come on Sonata! Just release a new album with 5 speed power metal songs, 4 mid tempo power metal songs and 1 ballad song. That's what we want from you guys! We know you can make it. Don't waste your talent.
@rahmansetiawan40852 жыл бұрын
This is what power metal fans want. But power metal fans are few compared to other fans such as pop slow rock hard rock and (traditional) heavy metal.

A nice track, but feels kinda boring (too simple compared to original). 'For The Sake Of Revenge', for example, was more creative and felt more like an upgraded version of its original. Really liked Volume 1, so looking ahead to checking everything there too

These acoustic versions are nice, but it's been 3 years since Talviyo, and Talviyo wasn't a good album by SA standards. So really, the last good album we've had from the band was back in 2016 with The Ninth Hour. So I guess what I'm saying is that I'd much rather have new music from these guys.
@lithering31892 жыл бұрын
I thought Tavliyo was great! Different from their usual output but with some fantastic songs. Anyways, Tony said a regular album of new material was planned for 2023, supposedly with more power metal elements. These acoustic albums were supposed to be released last year and new material this year but Covid pushed everything further down the line.
@Moonflush2 жыл бұрын
Talviyo may have had bad mixing, but after listening it a few times I got addicted to it and, personally, love it slightly more than The Ninth Hour. Great tracks: Cold, Storm the Armada, Who Failed The Most, A Little Less Understanding, The Raven still flies, The Garden. New music is always welcome, but Acoustic Adventures is one of the best of their albums, imo + it is unique and gives more chill variety to Sonata's music pull. (This new track, however, is kinda boring. But lets see more)
@nustde002 жыл бұрын
Sonata Arctica is the single most tragic band in the entire world, the fall from grace is astounding. They were slated to become the kings of their part of the world in power metal, instead.... we get this.
@danielfurr73562 жыл бұрын
They have so many great new albums, though. I was not a fan of Talviyo, but The Ninth Hour and Pariah's Child are phenomenal albums. They're still capable of making great music, even if it's not the high octane power metal you want.
