They use tracked backing vocals, but _also_ sing some of them live, it usually depends on the song. This one is very _"theatrical"_ so they stick with the tracked stuff. Check 8th Commandment for an example of their actual live back vocals. They have an old DVD version, and there's also a more modern recording from Wacken 2017.

Backing vocals might be "fake" but you can always tell the difference between the studio versions and the live versions. Tony often does the backing vocals himself, but his live singing is always real. There are changes that let you know.

This song is perfect to Ms. Heretic, she loves lyrics and the lyrics from this song are absolutely madness

My natural reaction was they are singing, but they've been cut off for this video

They used to put those weird track chorus idk why but they have really good compositions and good shows recorded. Check "abandoned, pleased, brainwashed, exploited" great song

The backing vocals hits me too the first time i heard the studio version. Good Live performance except the lip syncing and reaction

I'm disappointed that the backing vocals weren't live, I'm insulted about the lip sync job, the song is great but the live performance null and void

A lot of power metal bands do this kind of thing unfortunately. Too many tracks rather than going for a more stripped down raw sound.
