Such control! It's amazing to watch her sing. Yes, people, pushing everything to 11 at every note is not what real pros do. She makes such use of every possible nook and cranny of the song to express the character's frustration and hunger for freedom. it's beautiful.

I’ve met Lisa Vroman. she’s not only incredibly talented, she’s also a very sweet woman. The best Christine ever to perform in Phantom of the opera. A good friend of mine produced an album with her some years ago. You should check it out.

A 40 year old Johanna? I mean... I guess? Edit: Y'all it wasn't a dig at her. You can be middle-aged and talented as hell like she is. I'm not saying you can't. She has amazing control over her voice and it's clear she's been singing very well for a long time. I was just surprised.

This is the arts, not a stupid millennial hollywood movie. Its about talent and the power of imagination. For the record, most sopranos playing Salomé at international opera circuits are over 40 or 50 for a 16 year old character. Who cares, really.
