Is there a way to adjust the battery level indicator? Mine shows nothing even with a fully charged battery.
@SuperSport19662 жыл бұрын
I will admit, I’m not positive. But I would check the below item as I believe it is related to the battery levels. P5=12 (Power Monitoring Mode) Also, if you watch the updated version of this video, I have the parameters of a stock bike listed on the screen so you can verify if yours is set similarly. Did you verify all the settings match the video? You can also try a full reset using the C10 option as shown in the video. If that does not work, I would wonder if the battery isn’t sending the data to the controller. Is it a SONDORS original battery, or aftermarket?

If someone's looking to upgrade to that it's called a ktlcd-3 screen....FYI if a newer Sondors like my fold X, you have to replace throttle, controller and LCD for it to work as well as the Juliet connecters.....worth it.

Great vid, by raising the max speed in the settings does it then override the 20mph governor on the bike?
@SuperSport19667 жыл бұрын
Matt Murton Yes it does. There are still limitations in the battery and motor, so you will actually get around 23 mph Throttle only. But if you pedal real hard, you can get up to around 28 mph and still get some assist.
@MattMurton7 жыл бұрын
Cool, I am looking at getting a Thin, but didn't know if I should just order the controller and LCD from Luna, I would guess running the stock battery there are limitations on top speed anyway.
@SuperSport19667 жыл бұрын
That is correct. I would order the LCD and Controller from Luna or one of the other vendors. It's about the same price as the Original LCD alone, and if you ever want to upgrade the Controller later, you have to purchase another LCD. If you do the Controller now, you may get more speed and power from even the stock battery, but it will shorten the distance it will travel. But, at that point, you will be ready for an L48 Battery. That's what I wanted to do with mine. The L48 for me was the perfect upgrade. I didn't need crazy speed, just more distance and a slight power increase. PS: I sold my second Sondors just the other day. I'll get another in time, but for now, I'm without a Sondors. I didn't sell because I didn't like the bike, I LOVED it, I sold for medical bills reasons. But I'll be back! ;)
@SuperSport19667 жыл бұрын
EDIT: You are looking at thin, so you'd be looking at the LT48 battery. electrobikeworld.com/products/lt48-48v-14ah-lithium-ion-battery IF you are going to update your battery, then buy the cheapest stock battery.

@SuperSport19668 жыл бұрын
If you have a stock bike, and if you get a chance, please verify all your settings are set the same as in the video. I believe there is one setting that causes that, but I don't remember which one. You should also join the Sondors Storm Owners Group on Facebook. LOTS of good help and info on there. If checking settings does not help, then that group will for sure be able to tell you what's wrong. facebook.com/groups/StormOwnersGroup/

This video was specifically meant for those that wanted advanced information about this LCD. There's already a lot of info out there for the basic controls. To clear your trip Odometer; After powering on, wait 5 seconds. Then press and hold the UP and DOWN buttons simultaneously for about 2 seconds. The Trip Time and Trip Distance will flash, then press and hold the Power Button until they both reset to Zero. If you still have issues, please feel free to get back to me. ;)
