I have a dream this gun will have a literal traveler ornament ( like tree of silver wings themed or the ball hull ), and a catalyst that is the auto reload of xenotaph or like crit = refill ammo so it can fire endlessly, likw how the traveler never stopped firing at the witness even if it did 0 dmg until it was disrupted by the pyramid

since paracausal imbuement only activates after the super runs out, the caster of song of flame isn't the one who should use microcosm. a better setup would be something like broodweaver using microcosm and the alt account using song of flame instead of well for scorching rounds, the duration is only 5 seconds less than well as long as they dont use the grenade or melee.

Don’t forget to phoenix dive in rotation with song of flame, it applies 60 scorch stacks plus fragment, 40 without.

I think that most people are missing the point of microcosm as a weapon. It’s honestly more for killing tougher enemies like tormentors quickly. It absolutely destroyed tormentors in the first encounter in contest mode and it nukes em everywhere else too. For boss damage, you definitely want to run an instant pop super like the strand warlock one or nova, whereas song of flame benefits with rocket rotations and especially dragons breath. I even think apotheosis veil with this could be okay, but you’re losing damage on the transition from grenade throw to shooting the gun

i think song of flame will be most interesting for giving infinite demolitionist procs ontop of rain of fire for things like rocket rotations, cant see much of a use other than that for dps though

Demo has like a 5 second internal cooldown, demo just doesn't work like that.

thats why you use rain of fire during the downtime. during song of flame it gives you two icarus dashes like heat rises does, so you can reload with nade, icarus, icarus, nade, and then fire filler while waiting for the last ~3 seconds of icarus dash cd. ive been using still hunt with it in the following rotation: still hunt super, kinetic to proc bns, then the nade icarus icarus nade rocket volley (dont fire again after the second demo proc), then 3x still hunt headshots, volley again but you fire after second demo proc this time, then 3x still hunt headshots and activate still hunt super again. make sure to pre pop still hunt and song of flame right before dps starts, and you should be able to do it all in the usual 30 second time window. havent tried it on witness though, i was testing it on final boss of warlords

the microcosm is basically if you took one of those prototype particle beam weapons you would see from rheinmetall armored vehicles and made it a portable weapon and man its bloody amazing, I do wish titans will get a exotic that can crank up trace rifle damage that would be bangers

Hello Mr chicken I would like to bring a dps idea i had that you may like to try, with the expansion there is a world drop burst hc called Maahes C4 it has no reload perks but you should be able to get the mag to 26 with backup mag, the reason it takes my interest is because it can roll frenzy on fourth column like wardens(column 3 nothing crazy) and its void so it should fit right in with the nessa+wardens+edge rotation perhaps something like supremacy to proc cascade ?

You didn't have Paracausal Imbuement when you were doing Song of Flame: No Melee, No Grenade. All the other times you had the buff active and were doing 5,860 but without it you do 4,884 I just want to know the Damage output of Song of Flame: Microcosm: No Melee, No Grenade. I guess with Cenotaph mask. I'm just curious. It doesn't seem to proc many ignitions, but i figure sing it provides a ton of ability regen, a Solar hunter could throw a Weighted knife every so often since it only requires any stacks of scorch to ignite a target.

I feel like song of flame with the grave robber and trench barrel buffs is gonna be really good. Could you test whether lightweights, aggressive or rapids are better for dps in a tractor setup? The animation of snap melee is really short so youd be getting almost the full benefit of trench and with no reloads from grave robber, could be really good. Want to see how it compares to tractor supremacy or glacioclasm. Edit, its pretty clear that michrocosm isn't that good why is everyone glazing it in the comments.

Prob due to Tormentors since all their health is considered shield. Meaning any buffs to shield damage get massive value versus them. This things melts them like butter.

you know SOF is one of the highest DPS supers right. it sitting up there with burning maul and blade barrage and CEL GG. SOF by its self no buffs or debuffs or anything is doing about 650-700k dps. put on Apoheosis veil and you are easily surpass 1.1m dmg with just ability same. no heavy weapon dmg. get the new class item with star eater and apotheosis vail on it and with a tractor cannon and you will easily break 2.5m dmg mark my words this will be meta build this will be right up there with hunters still hunt and GG.

I've been wondering how good Microcosm would be on Titan using Hazardous Propulsion with the prismatic fragment Facet of Hope. I don't have Microcosm yet but a special Trace Rifle gets so many headshots you can load rockets faster than you can shoot them even when using Facet of Hope, which I believe provides base regeneration for class abilities while you have basically any keyword buff, including Radiant. Tri shot Linears seem like they could offer a lot with this setup too since everything has surges now and Microcosm is Kinetic.

microcosm is a heavy weapon EDIT: unless you meant just the Exodus rockets? you'd need much better class ability regen than what Hope gives you (a flat 60%, you might get a second Thruster proc late in a damage phase)

@@life-destiny1196 I have had some to experiment a bit with this, with T10 Res base Thurster cooldown is 22s and you get it back in 16s with Hope procced. So vs say, the witness you can have 2 Barrages for a normal phase and probably a third for final stand. As for Microcosm the idea was to proc rockets asap as 1000 rpm weapons take roughly 45 shots give or take to proc 6 rockets. But since Overcharged isn't in raids atm you'll never use Kinetic weapons, instead you're better off with Surge matched Aggressive Linears which will do more DPS and still proc 6 rockets in 16s. But honestly none of this is going to close the gap between Titans and Hunters at long range, I've since seen just how far Still Hunt is ahead and there's literally no point in raiding with any other spec. Another consideration I had was using Star Eaters Twilight Arsenal and swapping to Hazardous Propulsion during the animation but doing that you probably don't have time to fire 2 salvos. So Star Eater Super + x1 Salvo is probably the best DPS a Titan can manage vs the Witness.
