Indian people sound Indian because their native languages promote the use of certain sounds that other languages dont. American people sound American because the language they speak uses certain sounds that are unique to them. Since he was an Indian person who spent majority of his formative years surrounded by American people in America, he naturally has a voice that uses American sounds. Your sentence "his voice doesnt sound Indian" does not mean anything because a voice cannot sound black or white or mexican or indian. A voice mimicks what it hears.

@@jrdnlnx94 So you just have a weird misconception that different races are supposed to have inherent voices but is not true for any race/ethnicity. The human voice is unique for every single person and the only factor that influences it at all is the sounds/intonation involved in the language that you speak during your childhood/developing years. Also voices that you hear on TV/Movies are usually exaggerated, I am sure you'll notice this with how they show Mexican voices in American TV.
