@@hat880 For the most part you are absolutely right but sometimes you can break those barriers and I feel like she just didn't figure how to do it, or didn't care to dig deep due to the success of her songwriting career. In my opinion, if she was Adele, she would've been big as an artist. Meaning if she was the one who wrote and sang the song "Hello" by Adele she would've blown up because that suits her image and vocals more than anything else.
