Wow! When *Paradise* is played in fingerpicking style, its semblance to another John Prine song, *Sleepy Eyed Boy*, is uncanny. The latter also reminds me of Townes van Zandt's *Pueblo Waltz*. My favorite tunes to fingerpick in waltz timing (3/4 time) are *Home on the Range*, *Daisy Bell*, and *Silent Night*.

Oh, I can see clearly now. You use 1 2 3 4 for the down beats and add a + sign to denote (pun intended) the note on the off beat.

It's all good but way to much explanation. Just show explain little. If someone is read for finger picking. They don't need so much talk. Its nerve racking. Js..
