This is from their tenth anniversary concert at Yokohama Arena. This is high energy rock of course, but.. this was a concert of 33 songs over more than three and half hours. Imagine delivering at this pace for that length of time..

Also check out Don't you tell ME from this same concert. The video is on the official channel. Also has a guitar/bass duel although with a different pace. Akane-san has always played with a double-pedal. When the band started she hadn't played double but Kanami-san, the lead guitarist, got her to train on it right off the bat.

Good spot on Akane. She does already use the double-pedal regularly, and has for a long time, but I think what is new here is that she used a lot of blast beats. She said a while ago that she wanted to use blast beats in an instrumental but that they might be too noisy in a song with vocals. Hate? was initially going to be an instrumental but Saiki wanted to add vocals to it. I guess she had something to say. And yes, that duel is something truly special.

From Japan This song is one of four music videos introducing BAND-MAID's 3 hour and 30 minute Yokohama Arena DVD/BL that will be released on March 27th. The day before yesterday, the last video, Endless Story, was released. It has great lyrics and Saiki's emotional vocals. There are emotions that bring tears to our eyes.

In a history video about Akane it said that she had not done double bass before Band Maid. But because of the fast songs she was encouraged to do it. So she practiced and practiced. You can hear the results. Amazing. The duel between Kanami and Misa is just incredible. Think I have watched it like thirty times already. Great reaction.

Thanks for the great reaction! The epic MISA-Kanami ‘conversation’ (I learned they don’t battle, they are having a conversation) is one for the ages!! This band is one for the ages! Best on the planet. Miku writes lovely lyrics on most of their songs, but this one is really about HATE! Apparently, the husband of one of Saiki’s friends decided to be unfaithful. He is the object of this song. YIKES! The passion Saiki put into writing and then singing this song makes it so epic! DO NOT GET ON HER BAD SIDE! She will let you know. On the other hand, if you are a friend you can count on her to back you up to the fullest. I LOVE SAIKI …. I LOVE BAND MAID! Oh, thanks again for the reaction. I learned about Band Maid through your ‘Thrill’ reaction and haven’t looked back. I think this group is currently the best rock group. The bass and lead guitar are the best, as you can tell right away. Please also notice the greatness of the drums. Please also notice the wonderful harmony between the main vocalist and side guitarist. What's most amazing is that the main guitarist has composed over 130 songs, and the side guitarists have written most of the lyrics. There is no bad work among them. BAND-MAID has a wide variety of songs that you can really enjoy.

Nice reaction guys to a great band playing a great song live. You were so concentrated on the musis you probably missed most of the lyrics. It's "allegedly" about the husband of one of her friends who cheated on her. Saiki wrote the lyrics and she obviously has a lot of hate / contempt for the guy. One of the lines was a fantastic put down for a guy, a direct blow to his pride "10 minutes of limp gymnastics". Moral is don't piss of Saiki by hurting one of her friends.

I was so hoping you would get around to watching this ! I don't think there is any ? involved, Saiki clearly Hates the person she wrote the lyrics about. You should make a note to check out Don't You Tell Me and Endless Story also from this concert which was at Yokohama Arena and marked the finale of Band Maid's 10th anniversary tour. They were on stage for over 3.5 hours and played 33 songs. FYI Band Maid and The Warning will be having their own joint concert in Tokyo of the 12th of June, my god it's going to be awesome !!

In an interview, they said they filmed in a barn in Canada when it was -7° Fahrenheit! They filmed 10 videos and simply changed the props for each one! Jonah is completely blindfolded for this one. GLITCH is another great one to check out! As for The Warning-even if you don’t react to HELL YOU CALL A DREAM -Live, you should watch it on your own! Saiki wrote the lyrics and there is a message in the lyrics. The men in the Japanese culture has a hard time dealing with successful women, they must be be charge. Miku has always designed the costumes, and the costume have evolved by what each member desires. Miku use to make the costumes, now she has a fashion house make them.
