Thanks guys and who wouldn't want Floor as your backing singer. His performance of Endlessness on the Human II Nature album is superb and The Islander live at Tampere. And at the other end of his Nightwish spectrum is Master Passion Greed. And of course the tribute performance of the Pink Floyd song High Hopes in 2005. However so pleased that the recent Hellfest concert was so good even without him.

This isn't really a Nightwish song. Tuomas and Marko wrote it for a Finnish movie called "Lieksa" ( The Matriark ). But it did become part of their repertoire anyway. Guess it's off the set list since Marko left. And it's a song where Emppu gets to rest. 😁

Jeff...words hardly capture the bittersweet symphony I hear in your retelling of your friendship, loss and cherished memories. This is a beautiful song, made exquisite by your shared experience. I've been a 'new' Nightwish fan since 2020 and resisted listening to this, because I'd rather Rock My Ass Off than feel the pain of loss, as the title suggests. I finally gave in. It is beautiful. This song was written for Marko on the lead, and Anette did the harmony. Though Floor has taken over from Anette it means not that this song is now for her to do the lead. Still she is able to add some subtile Floor-ish elements, such as a crescendo, which is her speciality. Floor and Marko could sing together and create magic.

Hi again guys. Love this little song by Marko. Very emotional reaction to a song that always brings me shivers. I pity the band that had to follow them on stage. With Nightwish's permission, ARTE (French and German Television) posted the full concert video. Nightwish and Floor also commented on the video. One of my twenty most favorite songs. Haha. Besides Marko's awesome vocals and Troy's awesome eBow, this performance really shows how humble Floor is. As the lead singer, she's the face of Nightwish. The Northern Kings were announced on stage with the style "Northern Kings are back". Then the first song was an instrumental and at the end Marko came on stage alone and it was his solo song. Shivers went down my spine! At the end of the song, the others also came on stage. After the song ended, Jarkko shouted into the microphone that "Marko is back". It was a great moment when others gave him space like that. Each singer in the band had one solo song. I liked Jarkko's "Hello" song. J-P's solo song (Billy Idol cover) was also nice. And at the end when they performed Tina Turner's "We Don't Need Anothe Hero", it was really great. The audience really liked it, probably most of them sang along. Each singer had his own solo performance, but Marko had the first and the last of the concert!!! It was also great that he got to do a solo song twice! I respect that decision from the other members of the band!

And it is live! I mean there are vocalists that have 99,9% of the what i call "touch" but this is freakin 100%. I can't believe my ears. And combining it with other band members having also 100% touch (I mean, f.e. Kai delivers that vibe man...)...the whole outcome can't be other that perfect. :)
