It's my favourite solo by her, and I would even say it's the best one! This song it's everything, is a beautiful summary of the entire journey that Rachel has been through, I've cried listeing to this first time because I had that feeling that's the end of the show that I love so much. I really wish in the show they would have written in a story line that blain wrote this song, and showed it to Rachel. I understand she had to perform it herself, but maybe we could of seen flashbacks of them rehearsing it before the auditorium scene. At the time it was so confusing to hear a song and not know where it was from. As beautiful as the performance was, I remember being confused haha

This is from the series finale and the lyrics are perfection for wrapping up the storyline. I'm not usually the biggest Darren fan, but he did a stellar job writing this song. Darren will say in interviews he is not just an Emmy winner but also an Emmy loser. He won for ACS: Versace and lost in the song category for this…Season 6. It was the show’s only Emmy nom that year. I actually like the other song he wrote that season a little more but it is kind of my security blanket to rescue my feelings from THE WORST PLOT DEVICE EVER and STUPIDEST WAY THE WRITERS EVER BROUGHT MORE MEMBERS TO THE NEW DIRECTIONS. I might still have some things to work out (No Spoilers)
