I would like to correct the description of our ancestors (I am in the US). As I corrected our tour guide this year in Freetown, the people who were captured, kidnapped and traded were "enslaved." They were NOT slaves! Please correct your description. Thank you!

So amazing reading people proud of slavers. I think about people who came here with nothing not even their families. Beaten, raped, ridiculed. Then hundreds of years later, their ancestors were “freed”. Once again with nothing. So very proud and let us honor the Americans who “freed” them. What noble Christians doing what was right.
