wildflower is about jesse rutherford and his ex girlfriend- devon carlson. billie was friend to them when they were together, and then they broke up, after that all billie and jesse started dating and billie was thinking about devon all the time. Actually wildflower is devon’s brand for the phone cases🙃

What did you think of the Oscars performance of What Was I Made For, that song gives me a lump in the throat but that specific performance was something else. I don’t know if it’s that it was a perfect performance, the crowds reaction at the end or her reaction to the crowds reaction. Just so good.

Wildflower is about how billie felt she "broke the girl code" - billie dated a friends ex (jesse rutherford) - A lot of people believe this is about the ending of jesse's and devon lee carson's relationship and how billie ended up dating jesse afterwards. But I guess she couldn't get that feeling that she crossed the line out of her head. Billie and Jesse dated for about 7 months and are still friends according to her. And her and Devon Lee are also friends. So it all worked out in the end. Although billie really did like jesse.

Let me give you all the infos about wildflower. Yes it's about Devon, the ex of her ex Jesse. Jesse and Devon were together for a few years, they broke up and Devon got into another relationship and so did Billie and Jesse. Billie and Devon have not been seen together until after Billie and Jesse broke up but they might have been friends from reading the lyrics. After Billie amd Jesse broke up she and Devon were seen a few times together at parties etc so they are on very good terms. In l amour she definitely goes for old jazz, she has spoken many times about jazz being very influental to her - ella fitzgeral, peggy lee, frank sinatra, julie london etc. She did sing two songs at a peggy lee tribut show, which was fantastic if you want to check it out
