It really is very beautifully decorated! Everywhere from the reception, to the lounging areas, the restaurants and the rooms! It all feels very welcoming!

The whole property is so very beautiful, and while it was quite cold, the heated swimming pool with those views was really too enticing, so I had to go down for a quick swim! Loved seeing all the places that Josie introduced me too. Your voice is very calming. Do you rent a car and drive yourself or hire a driver? I’ve always either used public transport or my feet to get around England. When I visited last summer I averaged 40,000 steps/day……yep..almost 20 miles. But I’m getting older and know I can’t do that forever. I can’t wait to get back to England.

Well! That was a lot of walking! I walked quite a lot myself, I always love to walk around the villages and discover their picturesque corners and stores! But when travelling longer distances between villages, I used a car that I rented ☺
