If silver throws you out of bounds during the first fight and if you stand on a certain height, he will try jumping and since Silver has a higher jump, he will actually jump out of bounds and follow you. You can then run around a half loaded city with silver constantly following you. If he falls in the water he just spawns back on land because *HE IS GOD*

It's one thing to defeat a dragon alone at level 1, with a wooden sword and no armor, and not take any damage, in addition to helping everyone in the way, it's another to try to achieve the same while carving your name on every rock you find on the way.

The Silver glitch actually holds astounding implications about the game, and explains why the game has such horrendous load times (if you didn't previously know). The issue with the game is that, for whatever bizarre reason, it deems it necessary to load the entirety of the game whenever you go through a cutscene, or activate a quest flag, or whatever. So for an example: You start up Sonic 06, it spends 15-20 seconds rendering all of Soleanna, it's people, etc. Not too bad, right? Then you talk to a guy and get a quest...and it spends 15-20 seconds loading a 2 sentence cutscene. What happened is that the game reloaded ALL of Soleanna, all of the buildings, graphics, textures, even nearby people...just with the targeted NPC with his quest related text lines. So now? The game spends ANOTHER 15-20 seconds loading, and you guessed it, because the game is now reloading all of Soleanna for a THIRD BLOODY TIME, now with the quest related objects (enemies, rings, whatever) added to the game. This is MONUMENTALLY bad game design. I just can't even fathom it.

A quest is something you generally undertake to achieve something, he just booted up the game and they were thrown at him and it was a party. In his Pokemon Glitchquest videos, he had to do specific things for each glitch, not the case in these videos.

Just a heads up for everyone: the difference between Glitchfest and Glitch Quest is that Glitch Quest has a specific goal to accomplish in the long run. For example, the first Glitch Quest I did the goal was to eventually beat the game. In Glitchfest, there is no goal other than just showing a compilation of glitches. In future Glitch Quests I'll probably more specifically point out the "Quests" and maybe even show a running quest log, to help distinguish between "Glitchfest' and "Glitch Quest"

The stop signs in Soleanna forest were likely a result of the game loading parts of the city, as the level as accessed way earlier than intended, so it loaded the city' stop sign assets, and that's most likely why Soleanna forest was full of stop signs.

To be honest, being unable to lose lives in the hub worlds can be considered an unintended blessing. I remember when TheRunawayGuys played Sonic Adventure, and they got a GAME OVER because they fell through the tiny, almost negligible space between a the raft that takes you to the sunken Egg Carrier and the small dock under Mystic Ruin's rail station that you board it at. ProtonJon was...quite livid, to say the least.

Fun fact: I don’t experience as many glitches when playing normally as I expected, but there were two glitches I remember occurring out of nowhere: -When playing Wave Ocean on PS3, I once hit a spring that was supposed to take me to another spring and then a rail, but instead was sent flying so high that I went into a void because the background only exists for so high, before plummeting back down and ending up out of bounds. -Another time on the 360 version (I sold the PS3 version and got the 360 version for some reason), I was fighting Egg Cerberus and everything was normal, but then for some reason, I jumped onto the rail thing on him and then launched so far into the air that it looked as if the entire universe imploded onto itself and I was worried that I would have to quit and play it again, but then the boss started again as if I died, which I guess I did. There were other glitches, but I went out of my way to do them, although they weren’t too hard. Honestly, causing these glitches is a lot of fun for me, and probably the only fun I had with this game.

I remember when I used to stand on top of that box and do the bound jump. Then Silver would throw you into space and as soon as you get up to the sun level, you would die and begin falling down. I also remember the first time I got a game over, I was sent all the way back to the beginning and 10 year old me was not very happy about that, since I never got sent all the way to the beginning in any other game.🤣

Scykoh The glitches are out of control, yeah, I can see that. But if you know where they are and how you can avoid them it's fine. Also, did you know that there IS a glitch in Wave Ocean? When you go up the ramp at the end of the speed section, if you don't take it JUST RIGHT.. It will launch you into the ocean and you die.

While I hated the gameplay, I did like the story. It was interesting. However, I heard that Sega fired their bugging team before this game hit the shelves. I bet if they didn't rush the game making and bugging process, it would have been more enjoyable to play.

I know this is a very hated game, but it had so much going for it. A pretty good story, graphics were great, the boost sections had a lot of potential but it was ruined by horrible glitches, poor physics, awful controls and of course "The Kiss". I know Sega isn't into remakes, but Nintendo is. Give this game one more chance, remake it. Touch up the graphics, fix the glitches, physics and controls, rework the boost sections and get rid of "The Kiss".

Andrew Shaw I didn't say great, amazing, spectacular or even just good. I said pretty good, it's average. The story was good enough. On a scale of 1-10 the story is a 6. But as I said, it was good enough. Take away the rest of the problems then it's a very good game.
