Kinda wish I knew how to change the special stages like that, especially graphically to that extent. This is the only hack I have seen to date that changes that much of the S2 Special Stage's graphics. I mean, changing the palette and all is one thing, along with the font, but the Special Stage being partially clear and the new logos and stuff for it? Damn.

I'm sure the Special Stage idea was interesting on paper, but it doesn't compare to the original at all. The sky is pitch black instead of a vibrant and psychedelic gradient of color, the tube itself has a much more limited palette, and the transparency effect falls flat since you can't see through to the other side when rounding curves.

I'd personally like it if the level palettes were swapped professional to compliment the new character sprites and palettes. For example, Outback Flat Zone might live up to its name if the grass and background were made to look more like the terrain in the outback, and the sky redone to look more like dusk is just starting to come in. I think that that would look really nice and enhance this visual hack just a bit more. Other than that, the new sprites look extremely well done, and really closely resemble SA1's character designs. The new Superform is amazing too, with it's own, unique dark-energy ring trails.

Is it just me, or is Sonic, just lost in the past & the near future, it will be a good thing because his coming back in sonic mania, i really hope that video game is at least going, 2 be better than a hack video game, because it need's all the support it can get, but the way thing's are looking theses day's, i'm thinking 2 myself, it's just another out the window video game, i really hope this does not happen, it happened with other video game's, like sonic 06 & sonic hero's in year 04 & sonic generations 2012, gave me that super sonic mega drive feel, even if it was easy 2 die heap's of time's, Sonic CD Was a Video Game, that got me coming back for more & was a clone 2 sonic 2, doe's anyone here know, any good hack's, but something worth playing, from sonic's glory day's when game's were worth playing, even after the candle's were still burning bright for so long?.
