Nice video! I managed to get my Chao through it’s first evolution, so far this has worked a charm. Quick little disclaimer for anyone who is going to go AFK in the Chao Garden: If you stay AFK for too long, your Chao will die (or reincarnate). So make sure to check up on the situation every now and then if you’re AFK.

Mine didnt turn black & blue, it turned black and red at rul lv 10. I named it "FAKER," a reference to a line in the first Shadow boss fight: "Sonic: 'I found you, FAKER!'"

@@originalname4721 Hi, sorry for the late response. If the Chao reincarnated, you should be able to turn your Chao back into a Shadow Chao. The reason this happened is probably because you left your game on for too long. A Chao will either die or reincarnate when it is 6 years old. Unfortunately you can't prevent it from dying/reincarnating.

I used nothing but animals lol I got rid of its animal parts eventually, but still. And I dont think the level itself matters, as long as its run is its main stat youre good. Mine had like a level of 50 by the time it evolved

So, my chao apparently transformed into run/run+swim chao, so i gave him flying animals to make him normal, his color is now red just like the shadow chao but his hair/spikes are different. will he gradually get the correct spikes or should i start over again?

I think it has to be a dark/run+run chao for it to be a real shadow chao. Probably start over.

@@bojax1n I'm not 100% sure, but if you used animals on it, it may have evolved into a different type of Chao. This is because animals can change more than one stat, for example, speed and power, whereas green chaos drives only upgrade the speed stat.

This is why I suggest using only green chaos drives. My Shadow chao's run stats was at 1 thousand and level 90 when he evolved does that mean he won't turn red now bc I've been giving him green chaos drives still

I think it'll still become red. It just has to be at least level 20, I'm pretty sure it can be more than that.

You can feed it if you want to increase its stamina. Otherwise just leave it and it will evolve.

it wont make any difference if you use animals I believe i try it and it work just fine.

+KanekiSenen Yep. That is supposed to happen. The spikes are meant to get darker over time and eventually will turn red.
