36:45 I remember this, my first copy of this game had this glitch. At the time i didn't had a memory card on my Dreamcast and was trying to finish this game for months, and when that happened I thought i wouldn't be able to finish it... fortunately i found a way exploring the map.

Hmm, I've played in a very similar way before. I used to play Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon on my PS2 without a PS1 memory card and pretty much played all the way up to the 4th area (Midnight Mountain) without saving once. lol

What a great compilation man! Watching it made me remember how much important this game was (and still is) to my life. Even thought I knew about most of them, there were some really nice surprises for me: The darkened Sonic, Missile stop, King Boom Boo clip, Eternal Engine walking on air and Sky Rail's moving respawn. Thanks for doing this, I just downloaded it so this never gets lost =)

Great compilation and love the inspiration mentioned in the description. I used to watch sadisticmystic’s sonic adventure glitch videos all the time. I wish they would comeback but their last glitch video was over 13 years ago... where does the time go...

Great video!! btw, I accidentally found the glitch shown at 38:21 in different (much easier) way. I was trying to get A-rank on M2 and cleared as eggman. Then went to Chao World and exited. suddenly, the game starts at Rouge's Part and I was like ''??????'' lol That's how I found the glitch. (on PS3. not sure about other versions of the game) of course, you can start at Sonic's Part as well but start time may be inconsistent. this method may have known by many players but I think it's good to share. sorry for my poor english.

38:21 This happened to me when I left a stage and went straight to the chao world and when I left I went straight to cannon's core and got a tiny time

Avoiding the kill plane behind Final Rush's lost Chao area will lead to an infinite fall. Or at least, when I tried this (on GC), Sonic was still falling after about two hours.

I can't be mad at you for copying SadisticMystic because you acknowledged it but also made a very good updated version with most of the tricks. You've done us all a huge favor by making an updated version of the glitches & tricks series by SadisticMystic. He truly was the wizard of this game and ahead of his time. Were it not for him, the speedruns we have of this game could not be anywhere near as cool as they are now. He discovered hover jumping (originally coined as "cascade jumping") as well as super bounce. I think he'd be very pleased with this. Also I recommend anyone watch the original glitches and tricks videos he made, if for no reason other than the music. He also made a "Where's Big the Cat?" video I think has been greatly overlooked. Spelling mistakes aside, well done.

i think the reason that there is a goal ring in the lost colony battle stage is because they are both apart of the same map. I’m sure if you looked hard enough in lost colony itself you would find the battle stage.

36:10 WHAT? SEGA put a gradient behind the sky image...why? They did a similar thing in Sonic Adventure, placing a weird gradient that doesn't move with the camera (like this one) in Ice Cap's second area (and below the sky in the last Speed Highway section). What's the point when in other places they don't do this? I assume maybe these were placeholder skies in development before they added the proper skyboxes for the Hero Garden and those aforementioned Sonic Adventure levels.

andres from hoenn #56 - 25:58 - "Lights" is this one ? Just keep holding B, charge a light attack then pass through that object from above. If done correctly Shadow will perform a somesault and starts to charge another Light Attack. It works anywhere that triggers an automatic somersult.

Unfortunately, the 99 lives glitch only looks like it gives you 99 lives. it actually just lets you keep playing with -1 lives and it resets after you exit the level.

Actually, it is possible to keep the lives.You need to do the trick twice then finish the mission by getting 100 rings.

You get to keep the 99 lives after you collect a 1-up, which is what he does in the video.
