The problem of this level is that for some reason, Sonic seems broken in this level. Homming attack, spin dash, the object grabing, all seems difficult to do and very unprecise here. Apart for the throwing that I do on the box and get a better time for, your path is just perfect to get the A rank. Thx for the video

Those goddamn Boom Boos man! I've always dreaded the mere sight of those things and oh look there are so many *and they can bounce!* I would not have known they existed anywhere else outside of Death Chamber had I not looked them up.

All I don't remember Boom Boos in the anime, you're talking about the same episode where one of the Attack Boos possessed Amy right? It was creepy but I'm still more afraid of the Boom Boos in this game--giant fucking blobs that stretch their faces at you--burn them with hellfire!

​@fawaadkhawar3511 I thought I was crazy but it looks like I'm not the only one who gets the heebie jeebies by the Boom Boos(big ghosts) Something about those Soulless reflective eyes and stitched shut mouths have been haunting my dreams to this day, not to mention how strange they are compared to all the other enemies in the game.

The thing with Sonic throwing the whistling thing to higher ledges is that the item actually does a sort of homing attack onto enemies or animals. Since there was an animal in the platform you were on, it tried to target THAT instead of going forward onto the ledge. I usually use the boxes anyway.

Why is it programmed to target animals of all things? They aren't tangible objects, it might as well be hitting air

@Tsyumamatsu TheHavenofGuardia for some reason, the game registers the animal as an enemy, or target for attack. Same as the homing attacks, i believe homing attacks target anaimals.

Those giant ghosts made me so uncomfortable and I even had a jumpscare the first time I did on Hard Mode. :O

I am scared to death of those giant ghosts with black eyes and stitched mouths even though I know they shrink when you attack them. Also I couldn’t figure out how to throw the whistling switch thing on to the platform so I can be able to jump up there, as it is impossible to get up there with the thing in my hands. Or Sonic’s hands. You know what I mean.

​@jemmyoti9602 for some reason, I think the giant ones with the black eyes are scarier. I'm 31 and they still make me uncomfortable and I'm still having nightmares about them. I can play these stages no problem but I'd kill them every time when I know they're around.

@@Luckywhites Yeah, I'm pretty familiar with Seo Kouji, lol. Not to mention, me and my girlfriend actually partially deepened our relationship because of Suzuka, lol. She resonated with some of the characters, and I resonated with Yamato, so it was always kind of special to us :)

I've been struggling so hard with getting straight A's on this level, but I still love it. It may be annoying at first, but if you don't care about the A rank because you already got it, you can speed through this thing fast

It’s a good thing I never got to this mission when I was a little kid. Because those Big Boom boos scared the hell out me was I was little! This would have given me nightmares from so many of them being in this level lol

From what I played of this mission, to get a A rank, you need to get at least 14,000 points. I had 13 something, and got a B, but when I got 14,040, I got a A.

Huh, you know this mission wasn't actually that hard, compared to Shadow's Final Chase Hard Mode (I've heard the comparison a lot). Only took about 2 or 3 attempts. The #4 mission wasn't that bad either, going faster made things easier tbh, with the reduced point requirement

Kill the enemies, especially if you have Magic Hands and so long as you don't take like, six minutes, you're fine. Don't miss the Gold Beetle and go through at least a few rings. Not a rough one, took like three tries.

My favorite music, my least favorite enemies. I remember the old days i used to pass the controller to my brother and leave the room because i was far too scared of the Boom Boos. They dont bother me that much anymore as a guy in his 30s but they're still haunting my nightmares, especially in this recurring dream where I'm playing SA2B and I'm playing the longest level ever as Sonic (or Knuckles) going through all the various levels themes in one level until I reach the desert theme portion of the large level and have to deal with even larger and weirder variants of the Boom Boos with strange faces. I dunno why this dream keeps happening, aside from the fact my brother and i played this game endlessly. Even my sister used to play it just for the Chao Garden.
