@@Vrabsher_-Supreme_Perhinther- Not all the US Soundtrack is superior or even darker. One such example is Palmtree Panic Bad Future. The US Version is just, I don't know, utter trash in my opinion. It does not fit at all. The JP Version, on the other hand, is robotic and dark. It fits the atmosphere perfectly. I prefer the JP overall, but I really do think both soundtracks have their strengths and weaknesses. In Tidal Tempest, the US Bad Future perfectly fits the level, where the JP Version (though I like the music) would only fit the zone if it had no water.

@@shocktrauma85 I argue that US Palmtree Panic Bad Future is darker. JP BF Palmtree Panic sounds more like a panic rather than dark. While the US BF Palmtree Panic has more emphasize of the feeling it's too late to fix it since the slow and dramatic tone made it sound like everything in Palmtree Panic is dead and there's nothing left alive around that area anymore. It makes it more dark and guilt,. JP BF Palmtree Panic doesn't have that.

Holy shit. I have no words. The second I clicked on this and heard that piano key, I knew it would be good. Really good. But I did NOT expect this. It gives off the feeling of Tidal Tempest being a gargantuan labyrinth, far more colossal than you could possibly comprehend, and that you are a microscopic speck in comparison. Really sells the “tempest” part of the name, and tbh I prefer it to the JP one. If I had to describe it in one word instead of a long-winded, melodramatic comment, it would simply be, “Epic.” Phenomenal job, as always.

This track gives me 32-bit vibes, as if Sonic 3D had been made in real 3D, as if Sonic X-treme had been a absolute banger... They literally DID have that.
