Okay theory: Notice at the beginning of the song. The words “WAKE UP” briefly appeared on the boombox when the rap was about to start. Now in the end, when Sonic was being sucked through the wormhole, it briefly flashed to a scene. It looked like one of Eggman’s labs, and there were various cages. In all honesty... This is just an awesome rap. Something original that doesn't revolve around Green Hill or isn't JUST a stage theme remix. The use of the initial part of the STH1 title screen is really well executed. Animation's really great, specially Eggman's different outfits, as opposed to the regular red and black one. This honestly just has a lot of goddamn charm. Amazing job to The Kevin Bennett and the rest of this legendary team
