@@PJman1 No, it was the Emeralds that revived Sonic, not the kiss. Think logically. We know that in order to use the Emeralds’ powers, you need to use emotions. Chaos is power. Power enriched by the heart. It didn’t have to be a kiss. It could have been anything. Like a speech. Or just wishing very dearly for him to live. As long as emotion was clearly expressed, it should bring out the power of the Chaos Emeralds. And that wasn’t the first time the Emeralds restored life either. In Sonic 1, Sonic used the emeralds to restore plant life. Check out the Good Ending.

She can’t do that. Sonic was able to wish Shahra back to life due to two reasons. One: Erazor Djinn is more powerful than her. Her wishes are limited. Two: You can’t wish people back to life. The only reason why Sonic was able to wish her back was because the Arabian Nights were fucked, so its rules didn’t apply. For Sonic to be able to wish someone back to life in that world, he would need to do the same thing the villain did. Destroy the Arabian Nights to remove the ban on certain wishes. Sonic was either lucky or smart, because he wished to revive Shahra before restoring the Arabian Nights. Honestly, I think he should be able to revive them by becoming Super Sonic and sharing his power. We know he can do that. And apparently the Super form can revive you.
