This was actually one of my favorite stages, probably even top 3 cyberspace because it’s actually challenging to do a perfect run and there are times it doesn’t hold your hand- you miss that jump? You’re falling. It compels you to do it perfectly even though that isn’t a requirement and the track fits so well too. S-Tier imo among the others

the only level design reference i could notice was the spiral grind rails reminded me of planet wisp act 6 but everything else looks like new level design

Possibly but the spiral grind rail pattern is pretty common in boost levels (ex. Green Hill Act 2 in Generations). I'd say this level is pretty much totally original

Parts of this gave me Egg Fleet/Final Fortress vibes from Heroes.

Sometimes I see people say that EDM fits Sonic because it can be super fast and match the tempo of Sonic... I think the worst part is that this song actually isn't too bad. It just doesn't fit Sonic and I don't think it would be fun to play with :(

2 minutes and a half, a good chunk consisting of rail grinding and some basic af platforming with cheap yet easily avoidable hazards to turn on a switch, rinse and repeat. And people think this is good because it's "original" lmfao

Aside from the Spiral Grind Rail (which more of reminds me of the Giant Chomper Rail part from Green Hill Act 2 from Generations), this is original level layout

Tbh the cyberspace levels were the worst part of sonic frontiers for me. They weren’t really fun and it was super tedious to do all the missions. I mean they weren’t bad at all just not my favorite. Also this is coming from a guy who S ranked 1-2.

Yeah same here they cyberspace isn't terrible and the missions are kind of annoying and the levels are way too short.

Yeah I don’t play that much cyber space because of physics mostly because there is also a open zone

At least it’s better than running around that of those empty Open Worlds. It doesn’t feel like there was much done. It’s mainly doing this little side things to fill up your map, get Memory Tokens, you get the gist. And the missions aren’t even that tedious, they’re really just easy missions more than Tedious. But hey, each to their own opinion ig
