To be honest, I really wished if the actual Sonic Mania was more like this with its Remixed Zones selection than just rehashing Classic Trilogy & CD Zones, since they’re far more well-known, let alone when compared to anything else in the Classic Era. It would’ve been much more of a surprise seeing locations from the 8-bit games, SegaSonic Arcade, Chaotix, 3D Blast, Sonic R be completely transformed in ways no-one would expect, rather than remake a Classic Trilogy/ CD Zone in relativity the same style again.

That would be awesome. I feel they did what they did to see if people liked it. Guess what we all wanted it. So maybe they will get to do Sonic Mania 2. If they do then hopeful they do it. A 2d level of lava power house from sonic spinball would be soooo cool
