Sonic Merch Hunt - Looking For Weird Sonic Merch (Movies, Plushies & More)

It's February, which means it's a new month and every new month comes with new Sonic The Hedgehog merchandise. In this episode we head to Walmart, T.J. Maxx, Gamestop and Target to see what kind of new toys, plushies, shirts and other merchandise we can find. Last episode we were very successful finding action figures, games and even some Sonic The Hedgehog Movie (2020) merch in the form of a Mad Libs. Will we be as successful today? 951 creeper well it depends on your state. Mine like barely ever has sonic stuff and there’s only rare occasions where I find gold at my target or GameStop. If your curious, check ur local target, GameStop, or like videogame and toy store. I think Hot Topic might also have Sonic stuff because of the movie

The Sonic movie is going to be a VERY big deal for us Sonic fans, in the positive light. I am just too excited to watch this movie. Tomorrow is the start to my '12 Days of Sonic' counting down to the movie opening in theaters. YAHOO! I am just so freakin; happy :D

My movie theater has a double-UFO catcher machine, one side filled with Marvel/DC and the other filled with Sonic plushies. Now, I usually find a lot of the stuffed toys in claw machines to honestly not look very nice or quality, but these both looked appealing and were of decent size and material. Full proportioned 12" plushes of Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Shadow, and then smaller 8" or so (I'm guesstimating) chibi-esque plushies of Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Shadow, and Eggman. Now, I gave up on even bothering with claw machines FOREVER ago, you never win from these, but, we filled that thing up on opening weekend and by Monday the machine was basically empty, with only two full-body Sonics, two full-body Shadows and a full-body Tails left. Clearly this meant that it was winnable if it emptied out so quickly, so I said, "What the heck, might as well try." and put in $5 for 5 tries, but promised to do no more than that. I decided to go for Tails since he was all alone not near the wall and, bam- literally on the first try I won him. So, I went for a stand alone Shadow. Bam, got him in two tries. The remaining Sonics and Shadow were crammed together up front, so I held onto my tokens and waited for the re-stock. They re-stocked the machines, except this time is was all Sonics with a few Shadows. I went at it and got a Sonic in three tries. Then, I went back again for a Shadow for my boyfriend, since he REALLY wanted one, and, in order to get the Shadow, I had to move a Sonic out of the way, and so I ended up getting him as well. So, that's how I got five plushies for $10. Moral of the story- Sonic plushes are extremely winnable from UFO Catchers, but make sure it's UFO Catchers, because typical American made claw machines have extremely weak grips.

About the sonic plushie at the beginning, I knew a guy that would get one after the other, not sonic but whatever was there. What you need to do though, is try and get one of the metal things to go through the small loop that all these things have on their head. Sometimes, he would use the joystick to swing the claw from left to right, to get it in there and then lift it.
