Howdy! I'm Doorknob, Co-director of Legacy here. I found this video on a whim and I'm glad you take such a liking and appreciation to our work! Although, one thing I want to make more clear to you and others around. We didn't made it that clear, admittedly. Our team does not really consider the mod a "continuation" of the original Sonic.exe mod, you could consider it A return in an official extent, perhaps? (even then, this is 2011X instead of the OG mod's Xenophanes rendition, and Xenophanes is removed from our plans in respect of his creator's wish) However, we have mostly differing concepts and approach that I cannot say it's truly comparable to that of original's intended product. Oh and, that little weird icon that opens to Shady guy (Jerma's name) is my own take of what FNF's version of an internet browser would look like. Boyfriend is essentially on a sort of Omagle call with Shady guy.

@@bean1e_b0i_ Ah I see, think I understand Sturm's perspective on it. Nothing's real wrong if people sees it that way too in the end of the day. Majority of the masses do seem to get that were not just retreading old ground either way. So I can't complain much myself, lol.

The funny thing is with Rodentrap, you can tell IMMEDIATELY into Free4Me that it’s an EXE mod. In the title Sonic has a red microphone, something tied to Sonic.EXE. Sonic is also facing backwards in Free4Me and 2torial, something EXE’s are famous for. Also the background of Free4Me has an orange sky, as it it was on fire (huh, I wonder where that comes from). There is also an eclipse. I’m no genius, but when there is an eclipse, there isn’t meant to be an orange sky. Also the instrumental of the song has that one instrument that sounds kinda scratchy, which is found prominently in Execution, and later in Cycles. This all leads to the reveal, which I’ll admit first time was cool, but now I mostly listen to the song for that one section where both chromatics double up. (Also 2011X’s chromatic is just Sonic.EXE’s. It’s just like Foxy and Withered Foxy in Vs. FNaF 1 and 2. Change my mind)

Cool thing about Rush Shot having a different version of the song depending on who you choose is because in Sonic Rush, each stage has an original mix and a "Blazy Mix", and the fact that the stage the oneshot is set in is the same point in both playthroughs (No spoilers, please play Rush, highly recommend it). Fantastic attention to detail, really shows how much effort and care was put into the mod!

Considering Both Hit Single and Sonic Legacy Have Sturm as a major dev on the mods it makes sense why they are splitting it into smaller updates as Sturm believes in content for mods being able to be timely and not having to lay your full hand as the next update. Would think of either making a video on Funkkast being a Game Changer for mod directs or smth. Funkkast really has been for me the best modding directs ever.

I mean it would make sense as Joe himself is working on the mod, and Lord X is an older version of 2011 X so, probably will be. Hopefully.

Dude, you should TOTALLY check out Sonic 1 Funkin’ edition! It’s only V1 right now, but most of the tracks are bangers! My personal favorite is “Bit Wars”!

btw you got the buddy system wrong in RushShot, the buddy of whoevers losing (signaled by the losing icon)'s buddy will go worried before them turning back to normal if the loser is no longer losing
