Dude, this is my first Sonic game I ever played. I grew up with a Wii. It's not a bad game, I love it. And it's kind of hard to find anyone talking about this game recently.

my main complaint for sonic colors is how eggman made a "amusement park" with NOBODY there except sonic and tails, and even they had to sneak there. like maybe it's just not open yet but where are all the people riding the rides???? i wish they made a open world area to get from planet to planet and you could see people walking around or even other sonic characters, there's alot of other characters in the DS version but in the main game, its literally JUST sonic and tails, not even a sound from another person

This is the only boost game I actually liked out of the ones I played and that's mainly because it doubles as a puzzle platformer with the wisps. Does being a puzzle platformer go against what Sonic is? Yes kinda. Do I care? No because I had fun. The crazier part is I played the remake, not the original, so I played the bad version and enjoyed it. I liked the DS version a lot more though. Maybe not the most popular take but I actually like the wisps. The wisps are cute and anything that's cute gets more points from me. One reason people hate them is because they were designed to replace multiple playable characters, and while I agree that's a bad motivation, we're way past that now so I don't think it really matters anymore.
