I rather focus on the character himself and see the potential as a kinda-sorta ultimate evil; one born from forces beyond comprehension which, in short, might be Fleetway times 100: an entity that uses a warped version of his enemy's visage to mock him and all he stands for! I just wish I was as good at writing horror as I am with action, comedy, romance and drama to write my own twist on the tale; but I'll leave it to those with better understanding of the genre!

Fleetway Super Sonic has been spreading his malicious influences through Sonic and this isn’t the first time Tails got this uncharacteristically angry considering his out of character behavior with Jules, but was because of Fleetway’s influence over him and Knuckles. Charmy can be a hyperactive brat and a handful for the Chaotix and he’s still immature and very childish. Tails having a Dark form must be because of Fleetway. If you remember, Fleetway himself said he infected Tails, Knuckles, and Jules with his negative Chaos Energy, and now Tails is gonna be experiencing the effects of it. Whether or not he'll end up with a Fleetway form is not clear, but his Dark form is most definitely because of Fleetway.
