SONIC & SEGA ALL STARS WARZONE

Hi, first of all, I wanted to say that we are big fan of smash bros,
his style of play is unique and addictive as hell ..
Well, as we all know, Sony is doing his "smash"
called Playstation all star battle royale, and if that is controversial and all that ... but that was our
trigger to "Sonic & SEGA All Stars WARZONE". We started to think (what) other companies keep could
make they own "smash", Microsoft maybe ... but not if it has enough elements ... CAPCOM, maybe...why not..
But who have had enough colorful characters and elements?.... is SEGA ...
as a fan of SMASH BROS while Sonic and SEGA,,, we said....lets do it ..
Ripoff?, Clone?, Inspiration? ... Do not know, I prefer to think that "smash bros" is already another game genre
If we also consider to "JUMP Stars", "TMNT Smash it" and PSASBR .. It's a formula that works well and it is obvious that
everyone wants a piece of the pie.
If we consider all stars racing Sonic is very good "Mario Kart" game,,, no reason to doubt a smash sega ..
Playable Characters: 15 from sonic, sega and others: 35 , and 2 third party ..
They believe that 15 is much sonic?, Just As I thought, but we was getting a little borring to seeing the same faces over and over again
(Sonic-Amy-Tails-Knuckles-Eggman-Metal Sonic-shadow), hopefully Silver, Blaze and vector in the Olympics ....And thats all...?
If you saw "SONIC BEYOND", already know that we like to use the sonic characters up to the maximum.
Besides considering Sonic All Star Racing, Sonic characters are 7/18 is almost half .. 15/52 is not so much after all ..
We decided to include characters like Pulseman, RED and others so that the fans are like ..
The inclusion of Bayonetta ... will leave for wiiU understand now, but SEGA still owns the IP, .... I think..i really dont know.
And the Werehog?, I understand, is a double-edged sword, and he is liked for someones and hate it by many others
But his movements seemed so great for a game: P.

EARTHWORM JIM: cause is a 90´s hero...and because he was a side of sonic in the "No hoopers" trash can :D
MEGAMAN: why?,,,well 3 reasons..
a), is my second videogame hero, just after Sonic
b)CAPCOM doesnt give a shit about MEGAMAN this days.
c)MEGAMAN and Sonic will appear together at last in comic form..
ULTRA SECRET CHARACTER:
Bark?, Well, always had affection for this "scrapped" character. And SEGA wonna give us "Sonic the Fighters" again, so it's a good opportunity.
This is just a fan project, from our mind to a sketch book,,, WE loved it and wanted to share it with you: D
Of course... if SEGA makes something like this one day, I would not have this size .. and I doubt we would see Ristar, Vectorman ...

Genuinely solid idea, but some personal suggestions: -Personally I don’t see Cream working as a fighter. I can see kinda a moveset, but it seems unlikely. -While cool, I don’t think Mega Man has enough history with SEGA to be a guest fighter. I say this when Joker is in Super Smash Bros., so I guess its not the worst. -I feel as though there should be a Puyo Puyo fighter like Arle, as well as a stage. -Opa Opa should really be a fighter and not an Assist. He was the original SEGA mascot even before Alex Kidd. -I guess Toejam and Earl could act like Ice Climbers or Duck Hunt, but three fighters for the Chaotix seems a bit too much. -From a more logical point, I think Jet is asking too much. While popular, he’s mostly a spin off character.

It's true that there are too many characters, but ironically, there are lots of other characters missing like Arle Nadja from Puyo Puyo, the Bonanza Bros, Opa Opa from Fantasy Zone, Epsilon from Alien Soldier, Welkin Gunther from Valkyria Chronicles, Shou Amabane from Burning Rangers, Pengo, and many others (as a joke the Daytona USA car could be playable too). Heck, nowadays you can even include Persona, Football Manager, Total War, and Angry Birds as they have been acquired in recent years. This could easily be a great game that beats Smash in terms of online capabilities if Sega wanted to invest in this

This video is almost 10 years old, and I still think it's a pretty cool concept for a crossover fighting game however I can't say it's perfect concept. For one there are way too many Sonic characters on his roster, I know that Sonic is SEGA's flagship franchise, but 16 Sonic characters is a little much I say just reduce down to 6 characters. Another complaint with his roster is that that some characters aren't really relevant know I don't mind obscure characters to be on this roster, but Kid Chameleon and Chuck I think would be better suited as an assist than playable character on the roster. And finally, there are also characters that don't really represent their series well like Kurt and Toma, Kurt comes from Valkyria Chronicles 3 which was the only game in the series to not be localized in the west and Toma comes from Shining Force EXA on PS2 which is one of the more modern Shining games but it's not a game that people remember very well. It's likely these characters were added to the roster because the video came out around the time when Project X Zone came out and the fact that Kurt and Toma are also in that game, but they shouldn't have been replaced with Welkin & Alicia (Valkyria Chronicles) and Max (Shining Force). Arle (Puyo Puyo) - While the Puyo Puyo series is mostly a puzzle series I think Arle would be a great pick since she actually appears in games that were RPGs before the Puyo Puyo games so her move set could be incorporate her RPG move set.

This sparked my interest to make a TRUE sequel to the Sega All Stars Racing Games. (I did take some inspiration from Team Sonic Racing tho) So I used EVERY Sega Character that appeared in the Racing Games, which includes Football Manager and AGES. And I’ve added a few newcomers. I hope one day SEGA will make a third All Stars Racing (Not counting Team Sonic Racing) and maybe new characters like Kiryu and Majima from the Yakuza series or maybe ToeJam and Earl could be playable racers I mean possibilities are endless but what we got instead was Team Sonic Racing which was such a disappointing game since they removed the SEGA characters and replaced them with Sonic's annoying friends and that's ashamed because I am a huge fan of SEGA's franchises (except Sonic) but who knows maybe one day SEGA will make a true sequel to All Stars Racing or even make a SEGA Smash Bros.

Honestly I'd say Puyo Puyo is popular enough in Japan to warrant a playable character (I'd say Arle, despite being a Compile character first since she's definitely more iconic than Amitie). Also, if you're gonna consider a Shining Force rep I'd suggest you'd steer clear of any Shining game after III. Anyone who's played the series knows that tactical RPGs (1-3) are the most popular (meaning I'd replace Toma with someone else). ...Not that any of this matters given how old this is, but still, a neat enough concept worthy of my two cents. It's crazy that Kiryu Kazuma from the Yakuza series is on the roster especially when consider that this video was made in 2012 which was back when the Yakuza series wasn't doing so well in the west but now it's a big series for SEGA, so Kiryu defiantly fits on this roster. Also just seeing Kiryu kick a Sonic character in the face is to me oddly funny to me.

Agree, I really want to see a SEGA make their own crossover fighter like SSB and this video shows it has amazing potential but to be something great. My only real complaint is the roster is kind of a mixed bag because their really amazing picks don't get me wrong but some questionable exclusions and just dumb picks for the roster. If Sega makes a game like this, I would recommend they have Game Arts make it. Game arts made TMNT Smash up on Wii and PS2, and even though it wasn't played by a whole bunch of people, I like it BUT it needs to have more ideas thrown into it. As long as it's not rushed like Smash up was, and a exact copy, Sega All Stars would become a hit. Roster is SPOT ON, plus, I would recommend Blaze (Streets of Rage), Pai (Virtua Fighter), and Sparkster (Rocket Knight Adventures) THIS GAME NEEDS TO BE MADE.

This is awesome. I love how Bark was included. I miss him, Fang, and Bean. Sonic Fighters memories. I'd like to see more Jet Grind Radio characters. It's one of my favorite games of all time. Also, why not include James, or G, or even Magician from House of the Dead? Though they aren't that known of characters, House of the Dead 1, 2, and 4 (don't include 3 because it sucked) were amazing on rail shooters. Great work overall. Love how you guys actually took the time to get the music in.

I'd love to see more crossover fighters, but the problem is nowadays. The Platinum characters most likely wouldn't be in. SEGA technically owns the characters, but they go to Platinum or Hideki Kamiya for 2nd thoughts. He's the reason Bayonetta wasn't in Project X Zone 2. And considering he's always like "Smash Ripoff" or "Smash fans are Idiots" than I'd don't they'd be in unless they decided not to talk to Platinum about the project.

10 years later and I still think Pretty concept for a crossover fighting game however I can't say it's perfect concept. For one there are way too many Sonic characters on his roster, I know that Sonic is SEGA's flagship franchise, but 16 Sonic characters is a little much I say just reduce down to 6 characters. Another complaint with his roster is that that some characters aren't really relevant know I don't mind obscure characters to be on this roster, but Kid Chameleon and Chuck I think would be better suited as an assist than playable character on the roster. And finally, there are also characters that don't really represent their series well like Kurt and Toma, Kurt comes from Valkyria Chronicles 3 which was the only game in the series to not be localized in the west and Toma comes from Shining Force EXA on PS2 which is one of the more modern Shining games but it's not a game that people remember very well. It's likely these characters were added to the roster because the video came out around the time when Project X Zone came out and the fact that Kurt and Toma are also in that game, but they shouldn't have been replaced with Welkin & Alicia (Valkyria Chronicles) and Max (Shining Force). Returning Characthers from other SEGA All Stars games: Sonic (Sonic the Hedgehog) Tails (Sonic the Hedgehog) Knuckles (Sonic the Hedgehog) Amy (Sonic the Hedgehog) Dr. Eggman (Sonic the Hedgehog) Aiai (Super Monkey Ball) Akira (Virtua Fighter) Alex Kidd Amigo (Samba de Amigo) BD Joe (Crazy Taxi) Beat (Jet Set Radio) Billy (Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg) Bonanza Bros ChuChus (ChuChu Rocket) Gilus (Golden Axe) Nights Joe Masashi (Shinobi) Ryo (Shenmue) Ulala (Space Channel 5) Vyse (Skies of Arcadia) Zobio and Zobiko (House of the Dead) Move Set Ideas: Kiryu Kazuma (Yakuza) - Easily one of SEGA's biggest franchises at the moment so I think he defiantly deserves a spot on this roster. In term of move set Ristar could grab his foes from a long range and sling them straight to the ground and he could dash forward toward his foes. Arle (Puyo Puyo) - While the Puyo Puyo series is mostly a puzzle series I think Arle would be a great pick since she actually appears in games that were RPGs before the Puyo Puyo games so her move set could be incorporate her RPG moverset. Regarding Kiryu I still want him in a SEGA crossover game because I think having a SEGA crossover game without any representation for Yakuza seems a bit wrong considering that Yakuza is currently one of SEGA’s biggest franchises they own right now but like you said Nagoshi is against Kiryu in fighting games because he doesn’t want Kiryu to hit women.

Cream has a fighting moveset in Sonic Battle. In that game, she does absolutely nothing but command Cheese to attack.

It could be a similar concept to Rosalina and Luma, where her attacks are oriented with Cheese being a lead for attacks, once Cheese is KOed, her ability to use Special moves is revoked and she's limited to kicks, punches, and big impact moves that aren't as powerful as other characters, but enough to take out a high percentage character. You're pretty reliant on Cheese, but that is how Cream is on Sonic Battle.

Some of the Assist characters should have been playable characters on the main roster like: Chu-Chu Burning Rangers Crew Honey (Fighting Vipers series) Puyo Puyo Zobio & Zobiko (House of the Dead series) Mobo & Robo (Bonanza Bros.) Opa Opa (Fantasy Zone series) Also, there are way too many Sonic characters in the roster yes sonic is SEGA's flagship franchise but that doesn't mean he should be only franchise to get this many characters for one series. If you were to exclude some of the more unnecessary characters on the roster like Jet, Chaotix, Rouge Cream, Bark, Sliver, Werehog, Metal Sonic, Tempo, Larcen, Mega Man and Banjo & Kazooie you can put charachters for other SEGA series like: Goro Majima (Yakuza series) Aika (Skies of Arcadia series) Jacky (Virtua Fighter series) Blaze (Streets of Rage series) Selvaria Bles (Valkyria Chronicles series) While adding in new characters from SEGA franchises like: Boy (Wonder Boy) Sakura Shinguji (Sakura Wars series) Miku (Hatsune Miku series) Jack Frost (Shin Megami Tensei series) - Atlus

I know a few people have said it but yeah I'd drop a few of the Sonic characters in favour of a broader range, y'know strip it down to the cool chars like Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Robotnik and vector/chaotix cos he's cool. Maybe a couple more SOR and GA characters in there and definately Sparkster, Dynamite Headdy and Bean from Dynamite Dux?? I like the fact you've put Alys in but maybe Rune also. Boogerman, Chakan, Bubsy? I thought about TJ and Earl as being seperate but they got some cool double team moves in. Space Harrier would be cool especially if he did his dying "AAAARRRRRRRGGHHHH!........Get Ready!" lol when you say Beast, are you referring to pink undies Altered Beast (good idea) or Beast from Shadow of the Beast cos that would be pretty cool as well. Also what about Rick from Splatterhouse??? Theres too many to choose from now xD so last char idea I'd throw out there is Green from Gunstar Heroes - secret character with all his different forms. As a little idea for items and such; obviously you should have turkey and pudding from SOR. How about every once in a while one of those little blue buggers from Golden Axe runs about and you have to boot em to get an item. Would be an amazing game though, I'm suprised Sega didn't cash in on the franchise brawl idea. Sega stop looking for innovation and bring us our classics back as classics.
