I feel like it could be argued that Super Shadow is stronger than Super Sonic. They both took the brunt of the Eclipse cannon, Shadow was able to maintain his Super form while Sonic couldn't (which could also imply that Super Sonic can hit harder than the Eclipse Cannon with that punch to moon). Not mention, that Shadow takes off his infamous inhibitor rings for a quick power boost to move the cannon away from earth (which he presumably didn't use while fighting Sonic because he was either confident he could win or wanted to play the long game).

It could be argued I agree but considering Shadow has much more experience controlling chaos energy I think that could be the reason why he was able to maintain the super form for longer.

Ngl, I've never ever heard that ever being a factor in how strong a super form is in any Sonic media, especially since I would think the 7 chaos emeralds would provide the same multipiler to whoever uses them. Maybe if by being a creation (Gerald might not have created him, but I bet Black Doom most certainly did) designed to be intuned with Chaos Energy makes Shadow more capable in Super Form I would see it, but it would still make Shadow stronger. So for sake of arguement concerning the power provided by the Chaos Emeralds, let's say a super form gives a modest x1000 boost using Knuckles and Sonic as examples. Knuckles is considered to be strong as Sonic is fast, so they would have all their abilities amplified to where Knuckles is still stronger and Sonic is still faster (this example comes from one of the Sonic comics, probably Archie).

@ You misunderstood me, I meant that Shadow might be able to maintain the form longer due to his experience with chaos energy and the laser they both got hit with was chaos energy so that might also have something to do with it. I’m not saying that they have different multipliers.

​@@superxcrazy1989 Yeah I got that part, it just seems unlikely that manipulation of chaos energy was a factor since it seemed like their only plan was to take the laser head on through durability alone, presumably by pouring as much power as possible which doesn't require experience since that's more tied into controlling the output of said power. And again, never have I heard this be an actual thing for super forms. Even if Shadow was more used to Chaos Energy, it means he has a higher resistance to it which either innate or otherwise, would make Shadow more powerful. He also seemed to recover rather quickly, too.

It's hard to say for sure at this point, but I would guess the enemy would go at the bottom of the genius tier and the ally would go at the bottom of the fast tier.

He clearly reacted and moved his body out of the way at the same speed Sonic was coming towards him… even if he did “predict” his speed was still clearly relative to Sonic’s in that scene. You could argue it was just plot induced stupidity, but it very clearly isn’t just a regular human predicting the movement of a massively hypersonic creature.
