I like how you and I both finished our playthroughs of Sonic Superstars around the same time lol. But congratulations on finishing up Sonic Superstars. As always, your gameplay is simply amazing. I look forward to seeing how you play through Sonic x Shadow Generations. That'll be especially nostalgic since you covered the original Sonic Generations years ago, haha.

Amazing final battle, man! I like it when Sonic's friends showed up during Super Sonic's battle. Also, is it just me, or was Knuckles not featured in the final cutscene? Anyway, thanks for the walkthrough. 👍

Of this game, playing as Trip. I'm not the biggest fan of the bosses, music and level design in this game.

For a modern 2D Sonic game, this is just top notch. P.S. I notice that the game has SFX from Unleashed, like the activation of that purple egg from reviving the Chaos Emeralds, and even the balloon pop. Man, I miss those sounds, reminds me a lot of the best 3D games.

you play the whole game, its eh.. the ideas were good, just the out come.. just imo not to fun.

It's really not top notch, it's a super sonic boss where the boss spends 99% of its time in the background, and you can never get the opportunity to wail on it. It's the total opposite of how a super sonic boss should be, a frantic power trip.

@@Dilopho compared to the Hyper Sonic boss fight in Sonic & Knuckles or the boss fight in Mania, I kinda like this one because this is not pixelated (probably should have clarified that). I discount the Time Eater boss in Generations since Modern Super Sonic takes the lead most of the time

I've two theories regarding the identity of the Dark Dragon, and I like them both, but I don't know how to combine them.

I did not like the final boss against the Black Dragon, while he doesn't have a ton of instant-kill attacks like Final Boss Fang he is also annoying because the Rings feel like RNG to some extent because getting large amounts of them requires not getting hit for what feels like a few minutes and the dragon wastes time in the background. I now know this boss can be beaten in about 6 and a half minutes, but I stand by what I once said and still put it up there with Dark Gaia HD (Dark Gaia Wii/Ps2 is actually good though) as one of the worst final bosses in the series. I like this game, but Trip's Story and The Last Story left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth, I do enjoy Trip's inclusion though, she's fun to play as. I wouldn't mind another Superstars type game, but it'd need drastic improvements like if they insist on the bosses being longer; make the bosses their own separate acts like Sonic 4 and allow the player to jump into the boss multiple times to deal more damage, like the other classic games or Sonic Rush Adventure.
