Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) [Silver] (No Commentary)

This is a playthrough of Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) for Xbox 360.
Everything I could possibly say for Sonic '06 has been said already, it's a technical disaster with an unnecessarily convoluted plot; but it is somewhat of a guilty pleasure of mine. It's the quintessential video game trainwreck, and for that I applaud it.

This game could have been a masterpiece, it just makes me devastated that this game ended up the way it was, Sega whipped sonic team like slaves during its creation and that's just sad.

It wasn't exactly their fault tho, they had so much planned and already programmed into the game that it would have been too much for the consoles of the time to handle. The game was rushed do to overly excited fans and was never finished. I'm playing the game right now and tbh it's not that bad. I think the storyline needs work, and Sonise (Sonic X Elise) should not have been a thing in the first place. Overall the game didn't turn out as bad as people say, and I must say, it COULD have been better, but we should learn to appreciate a game SEGA worked so hard on just to make US happy.

Tried to take similar concepts from sonic adventure 1 and 2 but tried to make a bit more fantasy and magic related in terms of fantasy rpg games like final fantasy! It’d be really awesome too if Project-06 had a fixed story as well in a big update

Silver learned from Elise that he can seal Iblis (flames of disaster) within his soul by watching Elise’s father do so for Elise Elise and her father are part of some present day/past day royal family In Sonic Rush, Blaze is from a royal family, which is where her flame powers and her ability to sense the Sol Emeralds come from Blaze can sense Iblis and his flames Blaze can seal Iblis inside her soul I’m just making some connections. It’s clear to see that in the Universe(s) of Sonic the Hedgehog, some sort of origin of special flames seem to have made some sort of pact with humanity, whether it was multiple clans or one original clans, giving birth to lineages of some noble families in their world.

Shadow is the Ultimate Life form given birth through Black Doom's blood and the genius of Gerald Robotnik, so it's hard to come up with a reason there. Then again, it has been 200 years. Bloodlines dilute and branch out over a long period of time.

@Silver the winner No, she wasn't, not by a long shot. Maybe if 06 was released before Rush, but it wasn't. Blaze was born and raised in the Sol Dimension, she never was from the future. Now maybe in an alternate timeline (which is possibly hinted at in the DS version of Colors), that is possible. But they stuck her in the future in 06 for bullshit plot reasons.

I like the gaming concept they gave Silver, and the gameplay is not as chaotic as Sonic and the others. Silver is over all one my most favorite Sonic characters, and I would kill for his own game.

@@antasmax5480 sonic has two origins...the comic one and the original one; you can pick which ever you like best. he was either a normal hedgehog until dr robotnik experimented on him and gave him super speed by accident (i don;t liek this version its stupid but it is a canon fact that dr robotnik experiments on animals regardless so...) OR sonic was one of three siblings Sonic, Manic and Sonia and he was just gifted with super speed...it was natural (i prefer this version)

I don’t get why they didn’t make Silver as fast as Sonic and Shadow in this game. I mean, it probably would’ve made more fun to play as. Though to be fair, what seems to make the other two seem faster is that they i have dash pads in their stages that help them go faster, I think. 1:26:50 So a major glitch had happened here for me that caused the colors of the stage to flicker really rapidly and it was impossible to look at. The same thing happened to me when I got to the second part of White Acropolis with Shadow Story.
