Even though Shadow may get along with Sonic and get to an understanding, he's never been super buddy buddy with Sonic like Knuckles does. He may help him every now and then like he may in this movie, but he's not really Sonic's friend. If they make a Shadow solo movie, I doubt he'll join their family.

Martin has the ability to see nuance. Korey always sees movies with rose colored glasses until they shatter an expectation of his. Everytime Martin talks in nuances about a movies flaws, and Korey says {I saw nine of that”, I always watch the movie and go {HOW DID KOREY NOT SEE THAT?!?”. I see Martin as a reviewer and Korey as a guy who talks about what he likes and dislikes with bias leading the charge.

I also find it really interesting that when Martin dislikes something that Korey’s I love with, Korey rarely wants to dive deeply into Martin’s dislikes. It’s almost as if he doesn’t want him to ruin his good time. I like their dynamic.
