@@thetruesquad5059 1. I don’t think the next sonic movie will be sonic 4 I think shadow after sonic 3 makes some sense. 2. They already brought in knuckles before sonic 3 so it’s not like they aren’t against doing things out of order. 3 this is the year of shadow not shadow and metal sonic, so they probably don’t want to take any spotlight off of shadow. 4. Sonic cd is a less known (and worse) sonic game, so they probably wanted to do the most popular games first, and I highly doubt a sonic cd movie would make more money then sonic 2 or 3 so that’s probably why they skipped it.

Not really. On pure running speed Sonic>Shadow but Shadow compensates by using his air shoes to keep up and spams chaos control or chaos snap( the shorter version of chaos control) to perform surprise attacks in the trailer.
