8:57 I think the retcon that was spoken about there was the fact that in the old Timeline, Sindel was a good person and didn't kill Jerrod. Whereas in this new one, Sindel was always evil, and she killed Jerrod to "consecrate" her bond to Shao Kahn.

Something I feel that could be pointed out concerning Kronika and Shang Tsung is how in MKX there were some endings that pretty much heavily implied the writers were going to bring back Shang Tsung, between Johnny finding that book, to Ermac getting all his souls sucked out, they pretty much had it set up that Shang Tsung would return So in MK11, they instead make a new character, and they only have her be a plot device to have time travel/multiverse tisms, so they worked against themselves for no reason, only to then go back with Aftermath and just have Shang Tsung come back anyway, but not even in a legitimate way like, just throw away lines of being kept somewhere, and even trying to throw the character they made, Kronika, under the bus further by having Shang be some kind of important part in getting her, her plot device, just to pretend that they're on the fans' side by hyping up Shang Tsung

Wait wait wait wait I think I finally understand why Lui Kang could not come back anytime and save the others. So I came from Underdogs video and he said that raiden is constant and that future raiden had to be eliminated so when raiden fused with Lui he became constant. What if God Lui couldn't return to the past because of that constant and if he returned he would turn to dust. That would explain why he let what happened happens and raiden is powerless so he wouldn't be much help for the team when shang turned.

Regarding 6:30, if you MK gods allow me a correction it will be appreciated. Shang Tsung actually said that he was the only one that could successfully wear the crown (or Krown, as we have to love the extra unnecessary Ks) to beat Kronika, so Liu Kang HAD to wait until Kronika was beaten. Why was ST the only one that could do it is debatable, but the plot stated it.

Liuliu in its final form did beat Kronika, but according to the hourglass whenever he did it the crown would be destroyed. This is why he had to wait until Shang beat her, then kill him. As Shang himself said, Liu let him win because he knew it was the only way

Thing is, half the stuff is because either wb games and their bad launched of pc titles, or just because of the game being overloaded with what he views as shitty microtransactions. Exampe being the cold war skorpion skin, it was a gamestop pre order bonus but then they decide to make it free anyays, proving pre order bonuses are a waste of time and the stuff should just come on the disk when it gets installed. ie. anything NOT preordered should come on the disk, ie get charged for THE WHOLE GAME INCLUDING DLC. Not splitting it up into parts and locking away half the game behind a paywall, 2nd thing is making Goro DLC for 5 dollars despite marketing him as a pre order, he's not which means Warner Bros lied to our faces, and made us pre order a dlc we could already get post launch for 5 dollars anyways. Pre order is basically not getting anything for free early and just paying to buy dlc early. The only sin i can forgive is the blue steep scorpion skin, the rest are totally justified.

Pretty sure Cetrion lost that fight because of Nightwolf and the "Great Spirit." The "Great Spirit" seems to scale over the pantheons in Earthrealm as Nightwolf and the "Spirit" were the only powers on Earth to nullify Shao Khan's reality/realm merger and planetary soulnado and managed to do so over an entire territory, meanwhile Raiden was reduced to a mortal and the elder deities were allegedly afraid of Kahn or otherwise nullified.
