Cole and Brian, words are inadequate to describe the joy you guys have brought me since I found Sonne Farms channel. I am well on my way to getting all your videos watched. You both are great representatives of American farmers and agriculture. The videos do a wonderful job of showing the farmer as an agronomist, biologist, conservationist, geneticist, botanist, chemist, veterinarian, animal dietician, mechanic, welder, fence builder, trucker, machinery operator, marketer, ditch digger, business owner, accountant and much much, more. Shout out to Brooks Oil! I remember Daryl and David running the Standard bulk truck and Hank Tapken running the Mobil one back in the 70s. Does me good to know Brooks Oil is still chuggin' along! Kudos to Brian for keeping it all in perspective. Stuff happens, equipment breaks, etc. Nice to see someone who knows that, while this day could have been catastrophic, everything is okay and--more importantly--no one got hurt. Lifting a glass to you guys and all those who keep taking care of us. Cheers!

Had this exact same problem this fall, put some duct tape on to keep in from sliding again until we got a new one. Inside that collar/sprocket is little roller ball and it was just wore out, new one locked on solid. Enjoy your videos and you working with your dad. Amazed at the amount work you 3 get done. Keep up the good work man you guys have an amazing operation going on there. Green is the best and only way to go.

Hey you guys ! Great video, excellent camera angles again ! Tip of the day: Whenever my brother and I were working and it was a good distance apart like him inside and me on the roof, I just put my earbuds in so my hands were free and then we would talk over the cell phones to give directions. It was a lot easier than shouting and the neighbors didn't think we were fighting about something because we were shouting. 😉

Five dang problems today, you're not alone out there, a few other channels were having a few flip-flops too. You had a friend, it was a spy from the neighbor's field, they were wondering what you eat in the combine. Glad we're not the only ones with days like that. Just finished straightening the inch and a quarter loader brackets dad "adjusted" and welding it back up only for my mum to call in a panic as the care wouldn't start and she was going to be late for an appointment as she jumped in the truck as I went to give her a ride I heard and realised she had turned the isolator the wrong way I then get to find my dad had busted the dung grab lifting a fallen tree of a fence. Our neighbours and the machinery reps were all correct we have never busted a tine as they are hardox, we have torn the frame apart though in an unplanned attempt to rip one out.

Smart move, the large concrete cattle moving pad. More that cattle can be kept out of the winter snow, mud; more weight they gain. Takes calories to move in thick deep mud. Plus, saves so much in labor and fall accidents. Can tell who did all the hard close work on the broken chain/sprocket. Guy with dirt all over him, Dado. Heard this "Afternoon Crack" and had to scroll back to the vid, thought Claudia had dropped by?

I see you used an adjustable wrench that's a good way too bugger up your nut that your tightening best too use a ring spanner then it won't slip and round out your nut, but it was a great find and fix in the field love your show. [PS Use Carbon powder or coal dust on those acidic land bear patches it will fix them up and bring the PH back so crop will grow again good luck] Frank from Australia.
