Well at least there was a short footage where the circuit breaker is being turned off.. True its not enough, it should say more about that, but considering there are videos where they dont even talk about it at all.. I mean.. AT ALL... this isnt as terrible

However, for a video, you should prepare with some professional connectors, even the one with screws would do... Godd video though ! well done.'

It's truly an amazing product and can also be reflashed with custom software. O e drawback it will only fit solitary junction boxes while I. Europe there are often combined junction bixes. The faceplate sadly is a little bit too big for that

Do you have any solution for older wall mounts that doesnt have srew holes? My switches are install by wall mounts that preasure themselves to stay in the wall, i dont have any srew holes in my electric box, that is because my building is from 80s. I understand the app works with the wifi after entering your ssid and password but how do you connect the actual switch to your wifi ? I mean if your not home or on another wifi/3g network the app will work but how will the switch connect to your wifi ?

The application called ewelink will do the work meaning it will helps you connect to your wifi and the wall switch then store it on cloud server. That is why you need to enter your SSID and password during configuration. When you are not at home, it will use internet to find your wall switch and turn it on or off remotely. The latest firmware now automatically detects when you are on WAN or LAN. There is a small icons when you are in LAN/WAN.

The yellow wire is neutral not ground. The other 2 cables are hot/live wire

Is that the standard colours in your region? Seems pretty dangerous using yellow (that’s ground where I live) for neutral if not the standard. Also not a fan of using sheath to cover your connections.

@@ThedxRAMPAGExb even in england, you have neutral, it should be black if using the old british standard or blue if using the European IEC standard, the ground is the green/yellow wire, the live/phase/hot is the red/blue/yellow on old british code or brown/black/grey in the new EU IEC code. A test screw driver will light when connected to live wire, no need for a multimeter

The yellow cable is N not ground or earth. You can use any N close by.

@@mariusrazvan7776 This is not according EU regulatory.!! In switch TYPICALLY you have two black or black and brown wires. If you have there blue and/or yellow (green/yellow) wire, it can be unconnected. This is N wire. Basically - both wires connected to switch are live, one of them is L in, another one L out. You must check which one by tester.
