try a slow pitch jig, the lings can't resist it, no need for bait

I've used flutter jigs, swimbaits and other lures and still use them. I now like using bait that I caught on my own I get more satisfaction. I still use lures but only when I'm out of bait.

Did you ever get to use the Stealth for salmon fishing. I’ve seen you and others using pedal kayaks and when you hook a salmon, pedal fast to try and keep pressure on it. Just wondering because I thought my next kayak was going to be a pedal yak but after watching your videos, I’ve been looking at the Stealth models. Thanks

Curious, why do you release the bigger ones? Do they taste different?

Not always but sometimes the meat is mushy and not as good on the bigger lings.
