I got the Sub Mini a week after buying my Beam, I was content with the audio output but I realized something was off… the Sub Mini really helped remove some of the stress of the bass coming from the soundbar and cleared the audio even better. It’s not always just about more bass, it’s also about helping distribute the layers of audio coming from multiple sources

Same for me. Its amazing how much small sound detail you hear from the Beam with the sub added. Dialogue is better as well with it. I my EQ set to lower end as well. If you have a Beam, get one!

I got a Sub-Mini to go with my Arc Ultra. Don’t want to shake things up too much as I live in an Apartment. So, I turned down my Sub to -4 because the floor began to shake sometimes. It just fills in the lower bass and takes stress off the Ultra. You need to watch Peter Pee to get better ideas on tuning your Sonos system. I have had one for years, but never thought of playing with the controls beyond initial Trueplay tuning.

I feel like Sonos needs to address having to turn the Sub Mini up to +10 with a firmware update. I have a Gen 2 Sub and I have to turn the bass DOWN -1 in my place. Also, if your Sonos devices ever start giving you problems with playback (Ex: Beam works, but sub doesn't), just unplug all the Sonos devices (This includes powering down Roam's too), wait a few minutes, and plug them back in. This hack has saved me from having terrible parties with no music😂

Get something from SVS , it’ll blow your mind😂 however they do stand out like a sore thumb, the Sonos is much more sleek

Then you need AVR and some speaker package. It will not connect to the Sonos system.
