The tune popped into my head a while ago, and it took me ages to remember enough to search for it. My nan used to watch it when I was tiny

Wow that has brought back memories, my late aunt loved this and as a kid would constantly here the theme tune to 'Sons and Daughters' on mums telly when she visited us. R.I.P aunty, I miss the Soap, that has brought me up in Goose Bumps lol. xxxx

Deepest condolences to your aunt, may she Rest In Peace, remember her soul will Always be with you. My parents before life went downhill used to watch this with me when I was 6. I always remembered the theme, now 7 is playing it again, the series always brings back the carefree memories of childhood.

Im not sure if you have listened to the song yet but if you listen carefully at 0:00, you will hear the song begin. If you listen carefully enough (you have to listen 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 carefully) you'll find that the song does in fact have a rhythm to it. Try tapping your foot and counting along with the beat as "one two three one two three one two three one two three" you will will indeed find it to be written in 3/4. See how you go. It's not for beginners. I would say more intermediate/advanced musicians MAY be able to undertake this task if they have a natural ear for it.

Also, another tip. Make sure you stop counting after or at 0:42. I have personally seen musicians suffer from malnutrition due to counting for far too long. Quite a common mistake but easily remedied by ceasing to count when the music ends.

@@intensecutn thank you, it’s my favourite piece of Music, the Opening Theme, and the various Closing themes, I’m not sure if the 3/4 version used until the 1983 Cliffhanger (Beryl Screaming “David”, with the Shots, and the Freeze Frame on the Wombia (is that how you spell it?)Door, or the 4/4 version used from the 1984 Series onwards, the First Freeze Frame being David’s Life Support Monitor bleeping, with his head dropping, signalling that he’s gone.
