After a year of playing I still love to go through the custom story gameplay and then stay on the island and make some good builds. Until game devs introduce actual GPT level AI this is one of the best I have seen.

Am i the only one who just wants to survive, without the hassle of enemies? I've played like 300 hours peaceful in the forest, just trying to survive, then going from survive to thrive.. Can always get more food, water, resources, more convenience etc etc.. Chill gaming > skill gaming.. Hope they have a peaceful mode in this game too

Rimworld, Kenshi, S.T.A.L.K.E.R GAMMA, Space Engineers are all games that have AI that you can interact with, give specific orders for utility and combat, most have a relationship system of remembering your actions towards them.

@@PathfinderPlays I would like to put forward Medieval Dynasty. When it comes to companion AI. I mean you're literally giving direction to a village that you're slowly building. Tasking people with cutting down trees, farming, hunting... if you don't provide for them, they won't provide for you. You can also gain and lose relations with them as well I believe. As far as the enemy AI is concerned, it seems very similar to STALKER. Enemy factions that come into contact with one another will fight each other, as well as you, if you're in the area. They will even loot bodies of the fallen they come across, and in the last iteration of the game they'll even search for and collect artifacts. I would also like to point out, that they kind of cleverly made it so they didn't have to make the companion AI super intelligent in this game, because they gave one brain damage and the other is a mutant. I'm not sure that's a ringing endorsement for 'better AI'. Don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to Sons of the Forest, I just don't think this companion AI is particularly amazing.

so most games indie games have ai stats based on religion, hunger, smart/stupidness, rank affectness, fear, hunger, thirst, anger, moral and MANY other stats sorry but that isnt normal in many games!
