Sony 50mm f 1.8 vs Rokinon 45mm f 1.8 - Sony a7R | Are Rokinon lenses good or bad

minimum focus distance of the Rokinon is 1.48 ft., not 1.48 inches. Nice video by the way! Finally someone who is really saying something about the visual characteristics of lenses instead of just showing sharpness, contrast, fringing... comparisons. It's interesting that the Sony seems to have some "light spread" in dark situations, I never recognized that.

What’s the difference between image clarity and image sharpness?

When I use the term sharpness I’m referring the detail of the focus. When I say clarity I’m referring things like haze.

Hi, 1,78 " is 45mm, or 4,5cm

... the print on the Lens reads 0.45m, that's probably 1.78 feet
