Daniel - I love your work! Wish I were younger so I had the ability to see in person the beautiful Kalahari Reserve and it’s inhabitants. Thanks for sharing with us! I have my Cannon and Nikon SLR’s to keep me busy, and have much to learn about them. Your Sony 1-A is an amazing tool of your trade! What technology!! ☺️

Hey Myfritz, thank you so much and you are welcome. Always fun to play around with new gear, im back to fujifilm now which suits me much better. In any case its not really about the gear (despite me liking to test and try new stuff) its more about what you capture with the gear. Cant wait to go back to Africa and make more stuff with my fujis. Thanks again for watching, and yes, the Kalahari is truly a magical place. What a great set up. The G master lens is not bad also. I love your frog photos. Great color rendering. If I went to Africa I would not sleep. Animal photos for day, Astrophotography for night. I would bring a lot of coffee.

Nice vid! I have the a1 now too. How do you think the weather sealing/ruggedness is in different environments?

Thanks Not Jed! I guess it is fine, or at least should be considering the price. As im sure you noticed, I use the smallrig cage which is always a good idea. As for weather sealing I just trust its good. Never had an issue in dusty and humid environments. Thanks for watching

Do you use (variable) ND's? How do you cope with the sunlight? I can imagine the lightning can quickly change when for example a cloud comes along.

NDs for sure, important for exactly what you say. This was the rainy season so plenty of overcast days. Those are the best days imo! Cheers for watching
