@@lyaxedm1825 have you seen the results? Watch the gerald undone review.. the end result is better. Shooting at lower ISO's, better color science, flippy screen, better battery life, better AF system from the a7Siii - its not all bad. It's not perfect, but give credit where its due. If this cam was priced at $1500 rather than $1800, there's nothing on the market that can compete.... the price is a bit steep.

Usually a big fan of your videos but i’ll have to say that i cant agree with the point stated and find them misleading. Yes its smaller but it will require the same full frame lenses which are heavy and also cancel out the argument of being more unnoticed. Add a 24-70 GM on the C and it will look disproportionate, big and be uncomfortable to hold. The EVF is also way worse, badly located and small for photography. Only one card slot, making it unviable for most people doing client work. Just many points you didn’t mention. No hate, just want to let people know and consider before buying. Go with the A7iii, its cheaper and better, and for vlogging use something even smaller

As someone currently using an a6300, I'm liking what I see so far. I was a little concerned with the rumours saying it was going to be as expensive as the a7iii, but it looks like Sony listened to the feedback and dropped the price. Still contemplating if it's better to pick up an a7c, or a discounted a7iii though.

I’m running an a6400 now and this is literally the perfect upgrade to full frame. All I do is vlog. This should still work on my DJI Ronin SC gimbal. For KZbinrs like me this is awesome. Just wish it was 10 bit.

The A7C has better autofocus and tracking autofocus like Eye AF and animal Eye AF. The A73 is older tech. Good but old. On the other hand you can get an older A73 for cheaper second hand.

Mind you, overheating is a very real issue on these sony compact cameras. If you plan on doing long photoshoots in the sun you'd be better off with an A7 iii

bigger viewfinder is better for photography (if you use it) also non-selfie screen is faster to adjust for low/high shots,,,,,,,, but a7c is noticeably smaller/lighter & has better AF

Sony A7C will be available in late October for $1800 US (body only) and for $2100 US with the NEW Sony FE 28-60mm F4-5.6 zoom lens. The NEW Sony FE 28-60mm F4-5.6 zoom lens only is $499.99 US. I LOVE IT! I wish I could get the new A7C. That's what I missed about my A6000, the smaller body, vs my Sony A7II. The FF isn't too much bigger, but you can tell the difference. Great video btw

I'm really considering this camera, I'm just starting to do more professional work and I'm looking for a full frame camera to upgrade to. I first wanted to upgrade to the a7riii, but I feel like the price is too much considering the lenses I'll buy aswell. So I looked at the a7iii and I've heard so many great things about that camera, however it's a 2018 camera and people are starting to turn away from it. So now when I heard that the a7c is basically a smaller a7iii with a flip screen, plus it's cheeper and a newer model.. it seems like the perfect camera to upgrade to at the moment.

it's not cheaper... the A7iii is still a GREAT camera in 2020. Even the A6000 is still great these days. Fore what you want to do, the A7iii is probably more than you need. Don't fall into the camera craze of needing the next 'new' thing. Something will always be missing...

it's easier to start with aps-c (a6600) because of lower cost for body & lenses, I love my a6600 with Sigma 16mm f1.4 lens = great low light performance & lots of bokeh
