Sony A7III Long Term Review | Still Worth it in 2020?

It can be a bit much at first depending on if you have previous experience with Sony. Like most things, the controls/menus become second nature in time though.

Good vid man. I have the Fuji xt3 but i am not sure the crop sensor is my thing and was thinking about going to the Sony A7iii.

Thanks Thomas. The XT-3 is great too. One of my friends commonly second shoots with me on an XT3. I’m always impressed with the quality of the files. Maybe rent an A7III for a weekend and see if it’s for you

Coming from canon, did you decide on buying a lens adapter or chose to sony lenses? If you bought the adapter, which one did you get and whats your opinion?

When I first switched I used my canon lenses with the sigma MC-11 adapter. For photos it worked great. For video though, auto focus wasn’t great imo. I ended up swapping out my canon glass for native Sony as quickly as I could afford to.

Great vid. I came from Canon to Sony also. Do you know that you can tap the screen to put the focus point wherever you want it? I love that feature. Also, my a7iii is always in wide/continuous and I tap the screen when I want single focus. A press of the center of the rear dial returns the camera to wide mode. I also use back-button focus.
